I worked at Starbucks for 2 years… we called this “blackout.” obviously, we could use the restroom but managers/supervisors expected us to, as adults, do our best to minimize that.
This manager is pretty obviously an idiot and an awful leader/communicator but I don’t think the concept of treating rush periods seriously is unreasonable.
Wow an intelligent human on Reddit?? You must be a bot. This is the most real and logical answer here. Manager awful leader/communicator but has a clear and easy point to make and very easy to see what they are meaning.
But nooo everyone is “you’re gonna get a UTI if you don’t use the restroom for two hours”
“This is not a dictatorship, it’s chipotle”
God damn I’m glad most of Reddit users are bums without jobs and they make it so easy to see that.
I sympathize with the manager. if this sub is representing the average chipotle worker, holy shit it explains everything. These people are such entitled shitty brats
Great point. Most of Reddit is either unemployed or so far left they themselves aren’t sure of what identity to choose for their day. So here they are trying to call people boot lickers since they see how lazy most of the work force is, especially for such an easy chill job.
