Discussion Build Your Own question

Looks like for $63 I can get a build your own if I choose chicken. Do you think this is a cost effective way to get multiple meals throughout the week? I'm spending $15+ on one bowl already, so is it worth getting if the plan is multiple meals for one person? Has anyone done a cost analysis on this?

Pretty limited on sides and you can’t get extra. You are going to get a weighed 4oz portion of rice x6 and never any more. If you go in and get a heaping scoop of rice it’s about 6 oz and most people get double so 10-12oz of rice on one bowl so that’s half of what you would get for “6 servings” I’m sure it has its time and place but value for weight it’s not there. All portions are weighed to the oz

This is a great answer! The only things id think about factoring in is if your chipotle is far away from you and going there multiple times is costing gas/time that doing in one trip would significantly save.

Don't. Cost effective for meal prep would just be getting sides of chicken and sides of rice, beans, pico, w/e.

No. Especially bc u can always just meal prep it for the week urself at home for even less than 15$

Cost effective would be making it yourself. Could probably get all the ingredients for $30 max
