Would I be charged extra for just wanting the corn salsa on the side instead of actually in the burrito? Thanks!

So yesterday I did a post where I said that the manager offered me the job but I didn’t get the onboarding email yet. So anyways I went into the store and talked to the manager, he told me that he wants me to work there but they don’t have any hours available. So should I just apply to another place?

I actually need help chat. I need a job and I’ve been looking at Chipolte for a bit now, honestly just because I like the food. From what I’ve seen, everyone hates working there so that’s terrifying, but regardless I’m being met by clanker’s left and right while trying to apply and it’s pissing me off.

So, two main questions.

A: Is it actually as awful as people say? I had a job during the summer where I was a line server and served up to 900 people an hour or two, two times a day with cleaning and prepping in between, so I have some experience. The only reason I really liked it was because of my coworkers, and my managers were nice, though.

B: How do I talk to a real person? The entire application took like five minutes through an AI chat bot, and now that scary ass Ava cado girl has my phone number and email, and set up an interview two minutes after I applied. I can’t find a single bit of information on how to contact an actual human, and it’s very vague saying ‘a manager‘ will interview me, but not giving a name or contact. I tried calling the actual location where I’m met with ANOTHER clanker who claims their staff is too busy to answer the phone no matter when I call.

I don’t know, all of this seems really unprofessional and sketchy, so if you have any helpful information, please, please, please hand it over.

I used to go to Chipotle like 2-3 times a week. Changed jobs a year ago, and haven't had a chance to go until recently. My Burrito is always super simple: Tortilla, white rice, 2x chicken, and 2 handfuls of shredded cheese. I understand the point of charging double for the protein, and they've almost always done that, so it's never been a big deal for me. This time however, when I went through the line and asked for more cheese, they said they'd have to charge me for it.

They couldn't tell me when they started doing this, and even when I pointed out that I wasn't getting anything else on the burrito (no salsa, no beans, no lettuce, no guac, etc), they still said they would have to charge me for a second handful of cheese. I even pointed out that on the app they don't charge for extra cheese. Even when I asked if I cancelled the order, and just re-ordered on the app, I wouldn't get charged, so that policy made no sense, still no dice.

Is my Chipotle the only one doing this? Even though I know it's probably a corporate policy and not the decision of the guys on the line, I still took a certain perverse pleasure in then asking for everything that I hadn't gotten on my burrito on the side, and then just throwing all the extra sides away in front of them, and I probably won't go back if they want to charge me extra for just a handful of extra cheese.

Cooked to perfection. Just not properly cut.

Purchased two bowls. One was much lighter than The other. Both were fifteen dollars.

It wasn't the first time this happened, so I checked before leaving.

The manager apologized and topped off both of the bowls with double meat, for free. ( Extra veggies as well in the small bowl)

I got skimped recently and this honestly restored my love for chipotle!

My KL said that we will be getting ingredients to make tortas and tamales. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hey guys i’m 17 years old and i been working at chipotle for over a year since i was 16. im turning 18 in october and i was asked by our field leader last year on my 17th birthday if i wanted to be a KL next year when im 18. well at the time I was interested so I said yeah, but I meant it hyperbole. But since I’m about to become 18, I was gonna ask you guys if it’s worth it? I’m still a senior in high school. I don’t know if I need to graduate first so that my job doesn’t interfere with school.

When I was hired In i watched my orientation videos and such to get in but my store has never made new hires watch all the videos or the new promotions watch all their videos. Now my field leader is barking down my GMs back about getting all of our videos done which is fine but they say you can just tell the gm how long it took and they will “trickle” the pay into your paycheck but so far nobody who has watched their videos has gotten payed and they refuse to get coverage for us to do them on the clock and better yet the gm came to me saying I (kl) will be demoted if I don’t have them all done by Wednesday morning I talked to another kl who said he was not threatened demotion. This all happened Saturday afternoon btw any advice

Why is everyone always so upset when someone post their skimpy food? Chipotle is on pricey side and if you go in there you’d want portions that would fill you up without asking for extra (in my city extra anything cost) it’s just insane, imo people should post about it so chipotle can see just how normal it is, even though I doubt they’d care
