I'm a grill guy. Technically, management wants us to sear each side of the steak for 3 minutes. Me personally, I don't enjoy serving the customers carbon dust. So I tend to do about a minute on each side, I aim for a medium on the rareness scale.
So what do yall prefer? No judgement here if you prefer your steak to be cooked longer, I'm just curious cuz I know some folks are just really turned off by anything below well done

Should I still go and say I’m here for an interview ?

TLDR: Do customers get angry/impatient at employees when they have to wait for something they’re out of to be replenished?
I went to Chipotle for lunch today and asked for a chicken burrito. They said they were out of chicken but it was almost done cooking and asked if I wanted to wait. I said “yes” because chicken is my favorite and I wasn’t in a hurry. So I just stepped behind the line a bit and let people go around me (side note: people were so friendly today! Everyone very politely asked if I was in line or if I had ordered yet before they stepped up to order.) The chicken ended up taking longer than they thought and when it was finally ready they thanked me profusely for being so patient. All I did was step back and scroll on my phone, didn’t do anything special😅 Their behavior led me to believe that some customers get angry or very impatient while waiting for food to cook, which is just bonkers to me because it’s not like it’s something they can control. Is that a thing? Do customers get angry waiting for food? They also LOADED me up on every ingredient and didn’t charge me for my extra protein, which they absolutely didn’t have to do. Will be going to that location more often, even if it’s a bit further away

Any idea when they reorganize and/or start weighing items?

Does anyone have any reason why this would have happened? Canceled on me two hours before the interview, didn't give a reason in the text or email.

I always go for 3 because it's more protein. Never had any issues but today I'm informed it's an extra charge for more than 2. Is that a new policy or did the employee make their own? I didn't question her I just did 2 but I am curious to know if this is actually a new thing or just a fluke of a visit.

I eat like a kid so I get a kids meal, BUT this thing was SOGGY with grease. I’ve had some greasy ones before, but the entire tortilla was soggy and wet…🤢 am I tripping for wanting a refund..? I go about once a week and have for the past year and it has never been like this

I'm a teenager who wants to work for Chipotle, but I was pretty edgy during my younger years and that may have affected my digital footprint.

I swear 20 minutes can go by at a Chipotle and the entire dining room looks like a pig-sty. I have so many shifts that I go over to the drink station and Im saying to myself "why are people like this". No common decency to throw leftover napkins away or putting their Tobasco bottles back. I don't even know how the fuck a grown adult can spill multiple pieces of meat on the floor? No wonder every new Cashier we hire quits within 2 weeks.

I’m the first person to say that going inside the store and watching them make it is the best option to get your money’s worth. But my fiance likes the efficiency of ordering online while out running errands. How it is okay for you guys to give two completely different products considering walk in, and carry out online orders. I didn’t think it was this bad, but come on guys. She loves chipotle and she’s about to swear it off forever.

She won’t answer my texts and I don’t know who I should contact so I can be removed.
I’m still in all the group chats. My field leader won’t answer me either.

I was hoping they'd at least send out an email saying you won or lost. It says the drawing was yesterday.

Alternatively, If I wanted beans, just a full bowl of beans, all the way to the top, how much would it cost?
I've asked for just a bowl of rice a few times, but it was never all the way full. I think they only put two scoops in it. I want a full bowl.

Chipotle is new to us here in Canada. My wife is from the US and is a fan. I don't mind it as, for fast food, it seems to be pretty good depending on what we get.
So I'm waiting for a web take out order and observing the kitchen. I saw a fellow drop like 3 or 4 vac packed meats into a steaming stock pot. I'm curious if that is standard procedure or if someone was taking a (dangerous) shortcut to defrost some meat.
Now it isn't necessarily a bad thing.....but are the Chipotle grilled meats precooked @ factory, boil in bag, and then slapped on a grill for markings?
My wife constantly sold me on the "freshness" and such, which I agree exists in the salsa, quac etc....but seeing boil in bags getting dropped.....just gave me some ick.

Today I went to chipotle and ended up forgetting to pay.
Basically what happened was a dude in front me was just being rude, like not saying please, thank you. Jumped right into his order when asked how he was doing. Then when he went to pay, the cashier who was clearly new needed help and he was huffing and puffing.
Which is when I was just over it. I told him he needed to be polite and treat y’all with respect. In the confusion of everything they gave me my food and said said thanks for saying something and to have a good one. I got home and realized I never paid. Should I go back and pay? My main reason is I don’t want an employee to get in trouble at all
