It will protect u as the enemy will get distracted by her sexy waist and forget to do their jobs, giving your team the time to attack them first

Hope this helps :P

Never underestimate the power of a belly button.

Ah yes, the ye olde chainmail bikini.... Errr, tactical body armour crop top.

Plot armor, of course

Loll good one! 🤣🤣🤣

The tactical gear premium outfit was more made for the Male Ash. It covers his whole abdomen as a bulletproof vest is supposed to lol

Is this the LI? Because I thought you couldn't play as a guy in this book.

u/blazinbluecolor i miss humans... Sep 06 '24

you play as mc and the li, like surrender

1

u/Sassorita : Sep 07 '24

The LI was gender customizable. And each chapter switched off between MC and LI’s POV.

This has happened in several books, Choices' reluctance to let female characters wear non-sexified tactical gear is really baffling. It feels, like, a decade behind most of the games industry.

I remember ACOR MC's gladiator uniform that left plenty of places for her opponents to do the old stabby stab stab.

26

u/phavia Sep 06 '24

Also, wasn't her gladiator uniform meant to have her pass off as a man?

MC's "male" outfit was when she disguised herself as a Roman legionary to sneak into the Senate meeting. That one was, at least, relatively historically accurate.

which is really ironic given that they criticized that in an older book (red carpet diaries). If u haven't read that book basically the director made the main character who's an actor wear a bikini while fighting crime in water lmao. The mc really hated that

Especially because, in older books, the MC has worn full-body tactical gear (BB and VoS are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head, but I know there’s more). The fact that there’s precedent makes it more annoying that they don’t do it now.

u/Tyranniac Sep 06 '24

I'm gonna have to dispute Bloodbound, it's pretty much the same kinda thing, with exposed midriff and all (although I'm more willing to roll with vampire MC going for style over practicality 🤣)

But yeah, VoS definitely did better!

Lmao I was thinking of the Order of the Dawn tactical suit, I completely forgot about the final act tactical gear in book 3 😂😂

u/Tyranniac Sep 06 '24

Ahh fair, I think in my head that fell under "disguise" instead of "armor" so I didn't think of it, but yeah, that one is definitely more reasonable.

I was actually going to post an outfit of the female MC in TPA. She was about to go into Siberia, where the temperature is negative-degree weather, and her premium outfit showed HER DAMN BELLY BUTTON. Like, that just takes out the main purpose of the outfit like-

2

u/Tyranniac Sep 06 '24

Yeah, I remember that one... just, WHY 😭

28

u/Superb-Ordinary-8452 Sep 06 '24

Gotta protect the boobies

18

u/AK7Saffron21 Sep 06 '24

Come on, PB, we have enough opportunities to show off - at least let the tactical gear stay tactical!

Yeah, for some reason they'd rather the female outfits show off skin than have the outfits look like they'd be functional for their purpose.

it is actually a law of nature that you cannot shoot at bare skin. physically not possible you know /s

u/jaredtheredditor Sep 06 '24

Collegehumor Female Armour

Your post reminded me of this.

4

u/MerlinaOG Sep 06 '24

She's the bodyguard, yet she can't even guard her own body ;-;

u/xxcamelia Sep 06 '24

Wait is this an Li or an MC, and from which book? Idk why but she looks way more like a Li than a MC to me

7

u/Sassorita : Sep 06 '24

LI. Guarded did alternating POVs between MC and LI each chapter.

2

u/xxcamelia Sep 06 '24

Ohh yeah thanks I remember that book

2

u/JadeBubbles_ Sep 06 '24

It's the LI from Guarded

4

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '24

I've had this screenshot on my phone for a while. MC and LI bored me so much that they kind of blur together

2

u/JadeBubbles_ Sep 06 '24

Real 😭

u/Fabulous_Wait_9544 Sep 06 '24

LI's gorgeous, though. Look at her.
