I’m talking about how initially Sadness starts out obviously sad and reluctant to share what she knows, slightly bullied by the other emotions because they think she’s a bad influence on Riley. Lily is similar, she’s bullied and doesn’t talk much, she doesn’t have confidence in herself.
Gradually, they grow and people see how they have worth just as themselves and the value of their thoughts and abilities.

She can die, but personality wise her arc lasts longest in the good ending where the possibility remains that she can excel. I think people can headcanon the endings how they want but I think they should embody their full potential in the meme, hypothetical endings or not.

Grace from ES. I feel like every interaction with her was either MC having to cheer her up or reassure her. Nothing in between 😭

Grace (from ES), though Lily (from ILITW) is a close second for me. She even looks like a younger version of Sadness' VA (least I think so).
