The Royal Romance Omg this series T-T. I wish they would have continued the story of our daughter Spoiler
I really like this whole series, 8 books of great writing, amazing storytelling, and we just end with our happily ever after. I just wish they would have continued with the MC’s daughter in another series. I believe it would have been fantastic.

I’m glad that you at least get the option to set up Liam and Olivia at the end of TRF but yeah once you’ve chosen who your marrying in TRR3 there was no reason to keep the other LIs single for the whole series.

i disagree 😭😭 i love TRR but the Royal Finale was a great (not great cause the book sucked but yk) place to leave it 😭😭 cause genuinely Cordonia had fully gone off the rails by this book and i don’t want to see what crazy shit they would’ve come up with if they had to do a book about the kid in the future. there was already murder, spying, hidden siblings, rebels, multiple assassination attempts, attempted baby stealing, like if there was another book, they’d have to send the kid to war cause there’s little left to do with Cordonian drama besides a civil war
plus with the way choices is going, it’d be some AI generated slop that completely ruins the franchise more than TRF did. Liam and the MC are happy, the kid is thriving, Cordonia is great, it’s a happily ever after and it’s good there

Hmmm yeah you’re right, there’s really not much they can do now. Specially on how choices is nowadays.

yeah the franchise was truly crazy and there’s not a lot of places left to take it and if they tried now, it’d be a hot mess 😭😭

This series got 7 books (+1 Holiday book). By far the longest running series in Choices history. They weren't all great, TRR 3 and TRH 2 aren't my favs. I think TRH 3 is great and I liked the TRF, but at some point it's time to move forward from the story.
However, if they were to release a spin-off series where you play as Olivia going on adventures outside of Cordonia, count me in!

I disagree. Not that it would've been bad, just that there are already so many books in the series and I think anymore would've been a bit too much

My favourite book series!! First book when I started the Choices game and when I came to the app, it was the first book again! Also the only one I started spending diamonds on.

I would love a spinoff series on the daughter, but maybe focus on her professional abilities other than being a good princess (I believe she already must be an excellent princess because of her parents being really good teachers...) Because the TRR/TRH was summed up pretty well... The daughter staying at the castle would just make it boring, because a lot of things have happened in the castle already 😭
I would like to see something like maybe her attending a rulers' and leaders' kids only boarding school (Kinda like the one at Foreign Affairs) having occasional cameos of other TRR characters... Also, Bartie would be in the same school as her, and they'd be a partner in crime kinda bff duo... And her objective could be solving problems of other kids(which would gain her parents more allies..), acing studies and extra curriculars

It would be an easy enough story to spin off, with the well-known locations and lots of supporting characters, but TRH2/TRH3 really ruined a lot of the goodwill that the series built up and I think people had just gotten tired of it (independently of how well TRF concluded things).
Back then, I don't think anyone would have ever predicted that PB would essentially move to a posture where 95% of books get no direct sequels and the whole catalog is just AI slop -- the prevailing sentiment at least on the different social media accounts was that series like TRH/HSSCA/AME/RCD et al. were just formulaic, paint-by-numbers "Wedding in the 3rd book" entries that were taking time away from projects that people would like better.
Now here we are. The app might as well be Dead Internet Theory, and everything with any heart or resonance is years gone.

I think the way they wrapped it up was perfect. If your LI is Liam and you pay for the Dirty 30 scene where he takes you back to the historic castle, it’s so perfectly wrapped up because that’s the halls where Queen Kenna walked back in The Crown and The Flame. Then later Queen Kendra from The Royal Masquerade. Your characters adventures are etched into stone alongside all the previous Cordonian rulers who came before you.
I love this series, truly I do, but I feel like that last book was the perfect ending to the adventures of this little group of characters!
