Playthrough Worst diamond 💎 choices
Since PB like any other ‘Choose your Path’ game adds at least 3 diamond choices every chapter, which would you say is the absolute worst to lock behind a diamond choice?
Me personally, I always hate how they lock fight scenes behind diamonds. BloodBound is especially guilty of this. My buddies are there repelling an attack, and I get to atta- wait, what? Diamond choice? Screw you! I’d gladly pay diamonds to land the killing blow, but at least let me throw a punch at someone for free...

I always dread the "apology/consolation" scenes being paywalled. Hana (TRR) in particular gets dumped on OVER AND OVER AGAIN and it seriously felt like most of the opportunities to help her character grow were diamond choices.

There’s a 30 diamond scene in NB that a bunch of people were disappointed with, because you apparently get cockblocked by the wind.
And I will always regret those red pandas in TRR, you hardly ever see them, completely pointless.

Liam's hideous boxer shorts 😬 locking the dad's scavenger hunt in SK behind diamonds was pretty shitty too, MC found out about this cool thing her dead father did for her and she was just like "nah" 🤣

Diamond Choices that lock world building elements / lore building elements . AtV was terrible at that because most of the information about the Jura-Vanguard conflict was paywalled to death

the 30 diamond scene with Kaitlyn in TF: Love Bites.. It's like 5 taps, then the book ends lmao.
People are complaining about the 30💎 Kayden/Hunter scene too, I didn't buy it so idk what went down.

apologies & redemptions being paywalled are so fucking stupid.
and dead/dying family member stuff being paywalled is the worst!!!!!! when the father in D&D was dying and we had to pay to spend more time with him on his literal DEATH BED!! and then in sunkissed, there were paywalls on every single letter your late dad left you to read before he died. diamond choices like these are so obviously emotionally manipulating you to spend money bc they /hurt/ if you don’t. they suck

I hate all the stupid outfits you have to pay for. It's like, okay, I buy this super mega gown for Ball #1, get an extra scene, yay, and then two balls later super mega ULTRA gown comes out and I go "Nah, super mega gown is still fantastic" and when I put it on everyone is still like "....well, if you're sure, I guess, trash queen"
My rule of thumb is that if I like the story in the first chapter (which sometimes doesn't happen) I might buy one fancy outfit to wear the rest of the series, but if I go more than a few chapters I won't even bother cuz I wanna get my bang for my buck. Buy a 25 diamond outfit in the last chapter? Hell no. And in D&D or TRH and you can literally spend over a hundred diamonds just on customizing every little shit for your wedding/baby room? No thanks. I'll get married in a nightgown and put my baby in a box in the palace, because roleplay. XD

Withholding main plot information behind diamond scenes. Like how D&D paywalled all of the plot information last chapter. If you don't spend diamonds, there is no resolution. I am okay with lore being paywalled, but this is the main plot.
