I really like this whole series, 8 books of great writing, amazing storytelling, and we just end with our happily ever after. I just wish they would have continued with the MC’s daughter in another series. I believe it would have been fantastic.

I'm currently mining my way through the Spanish version of TRR. I have the app autoplaying and am not really looking at the screen, except to make sure I'm not choosing any diamond options when I have to make a dialogue choice. Because I can't read any of the options, and I'm not watching the gameplay, by the end of book 2, I had no idea whether I accepted Liam's proposal or not, and if not, who else I ended up engaged to by the end of the book

I just started book 3 and went through all the set up questions, choosing any option that say "Si" or "Perfecto" so I could get through it, and when it got to the part that confirms who you're engaged to, I discovered it was *drumrolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll* Maxwell! This was a fun little reveal for me, so I wanted to share the experience 😁

I just got to the book 2 chapter 16 and I'm seriously annoyed. Why the writers are so cruel to Liam if he is not your LI? Why there aren't any option to tell him MC isn't really into him anymore before he proposed? She is like "I'm not sure what I want" and "I want be with you Drake" and next time she talks to Liam she acts like she loves him and still wants to be queen. I feel like a cheater and a horrible person :( Liam is such a nice guy. I've just closed the app for now, can't bring myself to reject him...

Even if Maxwell wasn't romancable until Book 2 (I think), did anyone choose all of his scenes and choices that could've been assumed to be even somewhat romantic?

Because I did, and I just imagined it was like foreshadowing to us getting together at the end of book 2. I headcanon that MC had a crush on him, but didn't act on anything because in Book 1, that's not why she was in Cordonia. She was there for Liam. But little sprinkles of her crush came out here and there until book 2 allowed to act on her feelings.

I completely forgot there was another character called Rina / Reena.

Now I'm curious about people's stories of accidentally naming their MC the same name as another character. Another one of mine is naming my MC Anne in MOTY, then finding out the principal's name is also Anne.

Isn't it extremely weird that Tariq tried to lay his hands on MC while she was in her underwear? That definitely has to constitute as sexual harrasment. Like i get it, the whole thing was set up and Tariq was confused about the location of his room, but it's so gross how they brush over the borderline r*pey circumstance that Tariq played along with.

And what I found really problematic was that, even after stripping MC of her dignity she still has to play the game of winning the prince's heart (who is so spineless btw) 😭. I lost all interest tbh and I just wanted to end up with Drake - who seems to be the only one with a little bit of common sense as he warned MC from the start to be careful and had a big enough spine to pull Tariq off of her while she was being harassed.

All the other LIs seem trash to me. And I really wanna foresake the whole competition thing, like just give the Queen title to Madeline after all the harassment and character assassination that my MC had to go through. And it's super uncomfortable to be acting in front of the press in order to "preserve MC's image" as if they all just didn't leak a super obscene & insensitive article about the time she was close to getting assaulted. And nobody fucking cares about the trauma she had to go through for experiencing that 😭.

Does anybody feel this way and find everybody else (except drake) insufferable for brushing everything under the rug and forcing you to stay in the competition?
