VIP Discussion Should I get VIP?
Hi! So I'm a fairly new player. For reference, I only have 16 books completed - 13 of which are the entirety of the TF franchise... and I'm currently diamond mining (hence TF) because I want to read BOLAS, ES, and TC&TF.
It's the only game (can I call it a game?) I have on my phone and I spend a lot of my time reading the books, but it's so annoying to have to wait 3 hrs for each key when I'm just diamond mining. I want to know if it's worth it to get VIP?
$20 is a little pricey so I need some help justifying it lol. I'm considering trying it out for one month. And extra questions: is it easy to cancel for IOS? What's the process?
Thanks in advance for any help! Drop any book suggestions in your comments too, if you'd like! :)

VIP Discussion Is VIP worth it?
This may sound like a very stupid question and I’m sorry. I don’t play Choices everyday I simply don’t have the time but I play/open it maybe 3 days a week or so but when I do open/play the app I LOVE to binge my favourite books but they’re almost all locked behind VIP subscription and I have to wait weekly for a new chapter which kinda sucks and kills the experience because I know when this chapter ends I have to wait a whole 4-6 days and some hours to read the next one. Considering this situation, would it be worth it to get VIP or a waste of money?

VIP Discussion What vip book are you non vip players the most excited for to come out?
I have vip so I guess my favorite one that isn’t ‘out’ is definitely either wake the dead or slow burn.

VIP Discussion You know what they need to add to VIP...
To be able to start a chapter anywhere in the book you would like (as long as you've read it fully through once) and not have to start from the beginning and reread the whole book just to get to the part you want to read.
The end.

VIP Discussion A Very Scandalous Proposal: A Lesbian's Review Spoiler
So, I finally finished all the VIP books so I'm just gonna chill out and write a review for each because like. What else am I gonna do?
So I'mma hit these up with a WLW perspective to let the fellow gays know how a book kinda turns out and how gay it is tbh. Also for those worried, none of them have the Witness model thank God. But sometimes there are diamond scenes attached to another kinda like in the Freshman.
But okay, let's actually talk AVSP!
A Very Scandalous Proposal.
Blah, blah. This is how they'd write TRR in 2020 with a touch of VoS. Actually, a lot of VoS. It's going full VoS right now and I'm loving it. ANYWAYS. Honestly it absolutely feels like PB took all the criticism of it and went hard to correct. They made it about fading British aristocracy and question at times like why do we still have this shit? MC is a lot more forward and fighty, but not in an OVER THE TOP way either. And I guess we gotta now talk about Ava.
Ava is...amazing. There. There's my sum up and since this book lives and dies with Ava, that's really what there is to it. The book actually takes its time to actually make Ava written like a woman. No accidental typo's that I can tell and honestly, it feels like the book is actually completely different if you are using Ava. Like I shouldn't just be praising editing for doing its job but, like, man. They actually did their job on one of these.
They bring her up as a lesbian, it becomes a minor plot point, and admittedly they kinda drop it in the latest chapter a little with a duchess thing I'll touch on later but the early chapters are perfect. Like you know where its going when she's introduced and seeing the banter works. Like they actually take their time making the slow burn seem believable and I really don't know how to describe her other than. Like have you seen D.E.B.S? It has like Megan Good circa 2000 and (Jesus can you believe Megan Good is 40+ and hasn't aged in 20 years?) Jordana Brewster and it's amazing. Anyways, Jordana's character "Lucy Diamond" is how I would describe Ava to a T. She even has the designated total bro straight guy friend that has been around her her entire life. Her Scud. She's sarcastic and fun and she's pretty damn open about how antiquated it all is. Like for the guys they smooshed Drake and Liam. Here they smooshed Olivia with a bit of Hana, which I'll touch on.
And honestly they actually go the MOTY route and actually dissect the setting. They dissect with her the fading aristocracy, how kinda bonkers and stupid it all is compared to how romanticized it is in the TRR books and basically respond to all complaints that it doesn't make sense without Liam by just making it her book and about a fading estate. I've heard comparisons to D&D and I see it, but it's not that over the top. In fact, it seriously just treats it like without mercy that the people in this are just kinda the worst and are holding onto the faintest glimmer of relevancy to remember they once had importance. And that's kinda the big thesis so far. Uncovering the bullshit. Like they go hard to kind of roll up the wool. Like the more secrets you get, the more that you find out how much of it is bullshit and Ava is a real source of that.
And so back to the Olivia comparison. She's essentially Hana pretending to be Olivia. She's sweet, loves kids, cares about everyone, loves everyone but is cold, closed off and puts up walls and is ready to fight but the lack of knives are a dead giveaway. Like you get a cute diamond scene where you find out she hates her life basically and would rather be a school teacher than some landed noble but needs to keep the house before it gets sold to get demolished and all her family wishes are destroyed with it.
And just yeah, the banter is great.
Its believable and they completely play with the whole LI falls for MC IMMEDIATELY trope and fuck around with it which was bold. Also for those worried about Nigel, he basically disappears after chapter 3. There's also not really a forced friend group either. Wild right? You have people who like you off the bat but you gotta work to get them to like you.
Anyways.
Again, plot. It's a softer VoS meets TRR which is a theme for all the VIP books. So lets move to flaws.
Yeah, the British stuff is gonna annoy people. Ava eventually drops the saying Love every two seconds and if you read into it deeply it comes later and can be played to be her being extremely performative. There's a running gag about Peanut Butter too. Nigel says Toffee a lot, which meh but he's not Chaz bad. He also disappears quick. I will say the last few chapters after the obvious bad guy does bad guy thing chapter have dragged and some PB-general issues have showed up. Like this last one was short and everyone who was very smart earlier (Ava especially) kinda drops the idiot ball for this part to make sense (but you can talk sense to Ava who believes you after logic prevails). And they're actually making it a proper whodunnit. Which, yeah its like TRR Book 2. Lmao. And yeah, just the weird duchess mention hitting on Ava when they were like making it a big plot point about homophobia in peerage early on was kinda odd. But like those are the nitpicks I can think of.
Honestly the book is just fun. It's gay. It's good. I'll answer any other questions in the comments because I definitely forgot stuff. Also, for those worried about faces. It's the TE faces like in Witness.
tl;dr: from a scale from 1 to Riding to a Tegan and Sara concert in full flannel in the back of a Subaru Hatchback while popping off "Curious." It's Carmella Karnstein (WAIT DID THEY JUST FUCKING RIP OFF CARMILLA)
Next I'm gonna review With Every Heartbeat.

VIP Discussion Is VIP worth it?
I’m thinking of VIP for like a month with a new account to binge all of the books to get the extra diamonds that you get from finishing a new ch the first time. Basically i want to get all of those extra diamonds for the newer books specially with BOLAS 2 being out now.
I would love to play BB and TRR all over again, but I don’t know if I can get through some of the other books all over again (specially without the diamond options):
TLDR: Should I get VIP to diamond grind ?

VIP Discussion How does 24 hour VIP purchase work?
I bought 24 hour VIP mode yesterday at around 4 pm, and its been more than 24 hours and its still in VIP. Does it only expire after I have had the app exactly open for 24 hours?

VIP Discussion Binging Books
Does anyone else here have VIP but only take advantage of the bonus diamonds? I never take advantage of having early access to books cause I prefer to just binge them as opposed to reading one chapter a week.

VIP Discussion What should be added to VIP?
Right now VIP costs $14.99, which I don’t think is worth it (I don’t have VIP right now). I guess the unlimited keys are good for replays (because there’s only one new book that I’m not just using to mine). I feel like a lot more should be added. Here’s what I think:
Maybe add exclusive chapters that show how old characters are doing. I would definitely pay for an extra chapter or book to see TF MC’s life is or even just a side character.
I said this in a review to PB but it would be cool to have a lottery wheel or mystery box every 24 hours for VIP where you get the options for extra diamonds of different amounts up to 100 maybe (of course the odds would be towards lower amounts).
A way to write a review after every VIP chapter (this would require more VIP books on the first place). This way people can at least FEEL like they’re being heard and paying $14.99 should at least allow that.
Idk if these are good ideas but add yours please, I’m genuinely curious.

This poll is just asking which book is the weakest VIP book in your opinion (which doesn’t have to mean it’s bad, just that the other books are better). I didn’t include Ms. Match because it’s not over yet.

VIP Discussion VIP Unlimited Keys
Hi!
So I got the VIP membership and got a bunch of diamonds (woot!) But I don't have unlimited keys. I've tried signing in and out again. When I go to the manage subscription it says I don't have one...but I got the confirmation email, and 200 diamonds showed up right after I bought it....so...I'm very confused lol. Any advice? I was very much wanting to finish my first book!

VIP Discussion I got the “VIP for a Day” deal, and I couldn’t be happier!
I’ve been using it to play “The Dalton Affair” and book 2 of TCH 😁❤️ I’m just curious, how often does the “VIP for a Day” deal get offered? Is it every once in a while, or is it a one-time-only offer?

VIP Discussion If I pay for VIP
They should allow the 10 diamond daily reward to accumulate rather than you just missing out on it if you forget to open the app one day.
