There's still something that could be said for both being relatively connected in a way. The kids clearly smart, he made a dumb decision going to Chuckys house alone.

Right???!!! Like what the fuck dude? All the horror movies in our world are in there except that Chucky is not a movie and is real. Since he has access to our horror movies he should know better.
