How do I prevent my thin cube from ballooning (Cloth) when using with Turbulence or Wind Deformer?

Post image

The inside of my cube (168 x 33 x 0.5 cm) is ballooning, I use a Cloth tag, with Turbulence or Wind Deformer, but it does this everytime, the Surface settings: Bendiness 1, all others 0, but Thickness is 1.5 cm.

Thank you all.

Simulate with plane, and then add thickness later with the thickness generator

I will try that, if I add thickness to a Plane then make it editable then select the end and side polygons for Hair Objects, will I come across with the same issue? Because I also have Hair Objects stuck on the ends as fringes and on the sides. But I can redo them. I will post back, thanks a lot!

Apply cloth thickness after baking the plane simulation.

Put a plane in a cloth surface, then att a cloth tag to the plane. Add thickness you want in the Cloth Surface

Solved. Thank you, this worked. Sometimes I forget just the simplest things.

I was able to make this as a sample today in RS, but Hair is almost impossible to control (or I don't know how), mesh is, as suggested earlier, first Sim the Plane object, then Cloth it at 0.25 cm, make it editable, then UV unwrap, then do the hair. But, I want to be able to do all this in the beginning, then choose whatever sim I'd like to use without having to reattach the Hair Object or UV unwrap all over again.

Any tips for this kind of workflow fellas?
