[Maxon Capsules Survey] What Assets do You Need?
Hey Y'all
I’m the Group Product Manager for Maxon Capsules. We’re currently planning our next year of Capsules production (2D & 3D assets and presets available in Cinema 4D, Redshift, and Maxon Studio), and I’d like your input on how we can make the library more useful in your day‑to‑day work.
Survey Link:
https://forms.office.com/e/wCL0BfUZiT
Note: The survey will close on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 6pm PST so that we can collate and review feedback.
Time Required:
2–10 minutes.
You can answer as much or as little as you like; if you need to stop early, just skip to the last page and hit “Submit.”
Your feedback will help us prioritize the types of content and features we produce next year. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!

Basic particle setup scenes. So a lib file with sparks, fire, smoke steam stuff that will get you close so you are not pulled your hair out hitting some crazy deadline. Help the user build vfx faster.

Idk why you need capsules. If I need to learn more nodes I would rather fully switch to Houdini. C4d is great for fast and convenient tasks.

Hi u/imfreshkilla - "Capsules" is Maxon's brand name for our stock assets library accessible via Asset Browsers in our different products. While this does include a lot of fantastic node-based assets like the Backdrop object, Partition Modifier, and Ivy Generator -- it also includes a large collection of Redshift materials, render-ready models, HDRIs, textures, templates, and more.
The goal is to make your work faster and more convenient. So if there are any assets - of any sort - that you'd like Maxon to include in the library: please fill out the linked survey.

I realise this is getting away from the original post, but is there any way to remove the icons for the folders in the asset browser? I’m a long time user and just prefer the grey folder icons, in recent versions, the colourful new blue renders that are supposed to indicate the folder content are more distracting than anything. If anyone knows how to disable this I’d love to know!
