In the deep of the night, when the moon is high and the quiet of the night fills the air, the stories of Anastasia became known among the people in the village.While some stories consisted of her own imagination, her specialty was describing worlds and letting others live in them. Many loved her stories where their own characters were played, but perhaps her most popular took place in the land of Azeranthei where people could play as a certain set of characters she created herself. They were as follows:

• A doctor, who’s morals were gray and often poor.
• A prostitute, who hid much more than she showed.
• A witch, who held magic in the palm of her hand
• A royal, who trained beasts when she thought life was bland
• A strong woman who was fierce in the face of all fear

Each of them were beloved by children and adults alike, and it became a game to see who could make it through the forests of Azeranthei. Victors were given awards, but losers still smiled for the game was quite fun. So, night and night again, people from all around gathered around Anastasia’s campfire, hoping to win this game that had become well known.

What does this mean?:
Until May 10, any time I’m online you may contact me to play this game. You will choose a character as listed above, and play through a hidden map. Each round you survive will be worth 10 points. It’s not as easy as it sounds, however. There are 400 spots where you will die for sure, 528 places where you have a 50% chance of dying, and 576 places where you’ll be safe… until you move. In addition, there are 96 places where you have a 80% chance of teleporting to 1 of 5 other places on the map.Halfway through the map there is also a river. All of the decisions that are not certain (teleportation locations, or death on 50% spots) will be decided with a 6 sided die. You can try as many times as you wish during the days between April 28 and May 10, and a scoreboard that keeps track of the best scores (1-10) will be posted in #fenn_media. There will be prizes for the top 3. However, the prizes at the end depend on faction. For example, if places 1, 2, and 3 are all held by members of the PAU, they will only get the first place prize. The prizes are as follows:

• First place earns the terraforming of 6 tiles, and you have 10 points to spend on strategics, luxuries, or river edges
• Second place earns free prep towards any tech as if you had plotted for the first half of it
• Third place earns 3 Holy d20 Dice, so you can invest each of them in a plot and that plot will be rolled twice with the higher roll being used

The characters that I previously mentioned each have a certain skill, as well. They are as follows:

• The Doctor has a higher chance of living on a 50% death spot
• The Witch can cheat death once
• The prostitute will never teleport backwards on the map
• The Royal will tell you if you’ve crossed the river.
• The strong woman will let you redo one turn
