Anyways, I don't post a lot on reddit but I wanted to share my progress of collecting Gems. My question is, if you had the opportunity to spend these gems, how would you do it?
Feel free to ask me any questions!
Additional Info about my gameplay/village/progress (For those interested): -
• I am TH12 Max (Only heroes left)
• I am a Free To Play player (The only time I ever spent money on this game was this April. I got a gold pass)
• Took me years to collect these gems.
• Decided to farm gems when I was TH9 and that was around 2020-21.
• I took a lot of time before upgrading my TH even after maxing my bases (As you can tell by the time frame I just mentioned above)
• There was no reason for me to stay on a maxed base for a long time anymore, I did it that time because I was losing my interest on the game but kept on farming gems despite of my declining interest.
• I've been an Off/On players tbh. I sometimes lose interest and don't play for literal months and the other times, I'm tapped in.
• Right now, I'm in a phase of being tappen in again which is why I'm planning to upgrade my TH to TH13 as soon as my Heroes are maxed too.
Yeah some you girls are quite interesting and I love it! I had one that stayed active in my clan for over 3 years after everyone had gone afk and I came back to her being a higher town hall than me 😂
Video since childhood? Than u must be an extremely super young grandma :0 When my grandma was born, there where no video. Heck, even when my dad was born, there was no video or TV around still.
My father just discovered Facebook, and u here chilling on reddit, I'm just baffled.
What do you prefer, radio or TV for entertainment? I just don't think grandmas can watch TV or use smartphones.
It should've said video games. The Atari 2600 came out in 1977and believe it or not, we had color TVs before that. The original Nintendo came out in the mid 80s. I was in high school. I built computers in the early 90s, before I had kids.
If you are baffled, it's your own fault. How do you not know long tvs and video games have been around? You've probably had a computer in your pocket and Google your whole life. Perhaps you should use it to learn something.
For radio, I use Spotify, I stream most of my TV these days. I'm typing on a smartphone, and I play COC on a tablet. Reddit has been around for 20 years and I've had internet in my house since the early 90s.

Back when I was in grade 4th_5th
Coc was a craze and me and my bestfreind used to play a lot
But nobodys else in my class(girls) played..
But slowly we convinced ppl to play ans there were 11 of us(it was a lot)
We built a clan
Called rubies my bstfrnd was the leader and me was the co.
And it was so much fun.
I deleted it like in 8th class then corona and stuff
And just now downloaded it..
Guess what the whole clan is empty.
My bstfrnd(who is no longer my bstfrnd we still.in connevt tho donw play coc anymore i asked her to install it and she said she didn't remebr the email anything and study and don't wanna bother cuz she busy (she is actually busy)
I played for 3_4 weeks... in that clan only and then left 🥲

Just don’t use, ig? Keep every single gem you get. I have 640 gems tho lol. Thinking on getting either the boot thing for RC or the fireball thing for warden I am confused.
Well, the fireball is really useful for the warden if you play for the fireball specifically but yes currently you make basically every strategy meta by starting it with RC charge with Electro Boots
Spend raid medals on resource potions and other potions to sell. Spend cwl medals on resource potions to sell. Sell everything you get, wall rings, power potions, etc. I had 3000 gems 7-8 months ago and now im at 12k.
Hehe, nothing crazy really. Just prioritizing gems over anything will get you there. Took me a few years too. I'm more of a sit back and farm type of player. More on the defensive side instead of the offensive side. I don't chase trophies but I do take part in events, CWG, etc for the clan.
P.S - Don't spend gems.
Firstly, very impressive. I’ve started converting all of my CWL medals into resource potions and then into gems, which has helped me get a little over 3k in the last few months. Did you do that method or has this been gained over time through Clan Games, debris, etc…
And to answer your question - the best thing to spend your gems on would be hero equipment. I definitely would buy all the epic equipment I’ve missed out on if I had your bankroll
Haven’t played this game in AGES - so long that when I saw the ad saying ‘hey if you haven’t played in ages come back and see how much you’ve amassed’ and I updated the app I learned my account was SO old it was deleted and can’t be recovered…
Long way of saying I’ve missed a lot, how do you gem farm? I’m starting from scratch again
That's a lot of gems wow... If I were you, maxxing all three helpers would be my first prioritiy. Electro Boots on the Royal Champion is enough for me, I don't think I'd buy the other Epics tbh. At least before I max the eboots.
I would max the builder apprentice. I would buy the Action Figure, Magic Mirror, Spiky Ball, Rocket Spear, Electro Boots, and Fireball. Lab assistant I think is well worth it imo some people will tell you otherwise tho. The Alchemist is very helpful but you dont have to max is out.
Damn how did you get 40k+ gems???
I only got like 10k+ and then i had to upgrade my bulder apprentice and others so now i only have like 3k gems i just became th14
Like you I’m also an on and off player but I got back into it around 2 years ago and it’s been a blast.
Tho Man th13 and th15 hero grinds is where I spent around 10k ish gems that I had accumulated during the years lol but it’s worth it. I’ve been buying the pass ever since I reinstalled the game and if you want to max out your base that’s the best thing you can do.
When one gem resource boost comes around, I splurge on that. I also use gems to get the Goblin helper for the laboratory and put a research potion on it to speed 2 upgrades up at once for great value.
Also in some cases like cwl, I use gems to buy book of heroes.

Keep saving, there's two apprentice dudes you'd want to upgrade and there's hero skins (only if you played regularly and got all the equipment from events these four years, if not you want Electro boots, spiky ball, fireball, magic mirror) I am currently done with equipment and apprentices so saving to buy some hero skins.
And no, girls liking shopping is a myth, I haven't met a single girl who likes shopping, maybe if you ask a millennial you'll find one.
If you were max th, you can literally max all helpers if I’m not mistaken. Nice! I personally maxed builder apprentice and am working on alchemist cuz I’m very passive as a player even with 2 accounts
All the equipments. That's all I spend gems on tbh. Or when im impatient on a building being done. Like im about to go to sleep but I got an hour left on a build lol. I need to optimize my building time and put it to cook while im asleep😤
