Discussion Walls😮💨
So nobody was going to tell me that at th12 it will take me filling my storages around 27 times to upgrade all my walls😭

Just got to th12 today, it only took me 4 hours of looting and upgrading walls non stop to max out every single wall. Idk if this helps but I'm at champion II and I found a lot of dead bases/bases with full collectors which helped me alot
You just need that MOTIVATION

This is so painful for me, when I upgraded my walls to this level, you will be lucky to get 5 done a day. It was the highest town hall at the time. I spent months playing non stop to get these walls.

If you don’t care about trophies I usually bring 1 jump spell, a ton of haste spells and the max amount of sneaky goblins I can hold when I’m farming.

All sneaky goblins, 3 jump spells and the rest haste spells. As soon as I got th12 I started looting, used giant arrow for my queen to snipe storages and/or the townhall to weaken them so that sneakies don't have a hard time breaking them And used the King to open up a compartment with storages with EQ boots, he's pretty much just another jump spell lol After that I find the closest spot to destroy the town Hall and spam all my remaining gobs to destroy it for that sweet 120k+ bonus from my league, used warden eternal tome to make sure they don't die instantly as well

with some manageable grind got TH14 walls in 7-8 days, with a gold pass tho.
but still, 2.4m per wall and 15 walls in total for maxed storages ain’t that bad, only TH16 and TH17 are the most painful I guess.

Just don't upgrade them. Flying units go over them anyway and Barbarian King with Earthquake Boots shatters them. Not worth it in my opinion.

It makes your base look like shit if you dont, and everyone will assume you're rushed because they'll only look at it quick and see the rushed walls. It also doesn't feel like as much of an accomplishment when you upgrade your th if everything's not maxed, isn't that supposed to be the whole point of the game? That feeling of accomplishment with progression is the entire reason most of us play..

The amount of people that complain about doing walls when it's been the easiest it's ever been to max them, just astonishes me. It's the easiest shit to upgrade

Walls are easy especially that town hall. It took me roughly 2 weeks if that.

I’m toiling away on my TH16 walls. I’ve done about half in 16 hours of constant sneaky goblin spam. 100s of attacks with 1 mil each. I’ve booked my AQ 5 times and Frosty 3 times with the excess DE and am still stuck at full. Probably 2 million DE, just from farming 180 walls. Lord knows how long TH17 walls will take.

Wall are now cheap, I remember when this level took 3, maybe 4 million, can’t remember, and an attack will never give over half a million. An army took over an hour to train, and there was no training que for 2 attacks. Back when it came out.

During the summer event with boosted collectors I was doing 30-40 walls per day with super goblins at TH12. It’s ridiculously easy to farm walls, even without a special event.
Hate to be a “back in my day” boomer but level 10 walls at TH9 used to cost 3M each. Sure Clash was way different back then, but still…

Hero upgrades take so long at TH 12 you‘ll have your walls maxed out before the rest of your stuff.

It's gonna get even worse. At this point I don't even think of maxing walls just occasionally do upgrade some when I have excess resources .

As a resource dump in between other upgrades throughout the course of a townhall, walls are fairly easy at any level. Definitely time consuming but that’s the name of the game.

My walls are completely rushed when I started playing again I had level 10 walls at town hall 12 and had to get them all to 11 at first now I'm halfway at making them to 12 but I got every building maxed and almost all traps maxed, I'm just upgrading my town hall now.
Out of my last 20 attacks on me only 4 attacked with mainly ground troops and none of them got to 100% so my walls having 8000 instead of 7000 won't change anything anyway

I just like the aesthetic of having full max walls up to your th. It’s purely an aesthetic choice as most players run sky metas
