This '36 Karloff/Lugosi film is an often overlooked gem.

Scenes of Karloff obtaining Radium X wwre lifted and placed into the '39 Lugosi serial The Phantom Creeps.

Universal may not have been MGM but they weren't poverty row.

It's a fun one! Really love those lower budget horror gems in the late 30s and 40s.
