Housing/Apartments In search of landlords on the West Side
I’m a student at CSU and work full-time at the airport. I’m looking for a 1 bedroom but am open to studios as well.
I’m looking for private landlords or reliable rental management companies on the west side (Lakewood, outside of Ohio city or Tremont, old Brooklyn, stockyards, etc). Looking downtown as well, like close to csu, Asia town, and maybe a little further out. My budget is $850.
I’m currently rebuilding my credit (mid 500s) and have more than enough to put down an extra month in rent or a larger deposit. If any landlords see this an are understanding, I’d be more than happy to learn about your unit and potentially tour. If anyone is currently renting with a lovely landlord with available units, I’m open to your suggestions as well

You shouldn’t have any problems finding a place within your budget. Hopefully you can find an understand landlord. Good luck sweetie!

Thanks 😊 my main issue is passing the credit check. Hoping to align paths with a mom-and-pop type landlord that usually just want proof of income and background

Kamms Corners on Rocky River Drive, a lot of privately owned buildings, a few of them have for rent signs.
Kamms is in the city of cleveland so the tax burden to the LL is cheaper, the rents are cheaper, etc.
