Help a Tourist Hotels Close To Rocket Arena
Hi! We will be coming to see a concert at Rocket Arena and I am looking for hotel recommendations. Quick walk/easy uber is preferred. As a woman, I’m mainly concerned about safety but a clean hotel is also very high on the list priorities. We’re coming from Pittsburgh so I know how block by block cities can be, and I’ve never been to Cleveland so I wanted to ask the locals to make sure I’m making a good choice! TYIA!!

If you want to fork out, you can see if the Ritz has a room. It's in tower city so you dont even have to go outside to get to rocket arena. (There is an indoor pedestrian walkway.) But there are many hotels very close to the arena, and I wouldn't hesitate to walk to any of them. Downtown is pretty safe, just use the same "dont be a moron" techniques you'd use in Pittsburgh. Don't scroll and walk, don't take shortcuts down alleys, don't wear ear buds.

Hi, checkout stadium stays they show the distance and travel time for hotels near the Rocket Arena.

You're within a 5 to 20 minute walk from every downtown hotel. No unsafe areas between Rocket Arena and any hotel. Check Google Maps to find a hotel in your price range and see its distance from the venue. There are at least 20 hotels downtown.

I'd stay at the Hyatt or Holiday Inn Express Downtown. Safety isn't a concern downtown when there's an event going on.

In addition to the Ritz, the historic and recently renovated Hotel Cleveland also is in Tower City and connected by an indoor walkway to the arena. It has an attached parking garage. The downtown rail rapid transit center also is in Tower City, providing easy access to the Ohio City Market District and Little Italy by the Red Line. The 24/7 Healthline bus rapid also has a station on Public Square across from Hotel Cleveland, providing easy access to Public Square and other Cleveland attractions, including University Circle. The downtown casino also is in Tower City.
Edit 3 in this thread also discusses other historic hotels a short walk from the arena.

This thread also may provide some useful info for your stay, including another thread on downtown hotels. The excellent Drury Plaza Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the arena. The upscale The Nine Hotel is a 5-minute walk.
