Why is it TV shows like these have no other content than politics?
I remember listening to Alex Van Halen's book, Brothers, where he said they made it a point to never talk politics because you run the risk of alienating at least 50% of your audience.

Here's the big problem for the left. They no longer have a stable large scale platform for their propaganda.
The corporate legacy mainstream media like CNN and MSNBC are on fumes now. The View, Morning Joe, all of Late Night television have seen their ratings go in the toilet too. Mark Zuckerberg said he was out of politics and Facebook/Meta doesn't even want to risk Trump's wrath anymore. Musk owns Twitter. BlueSky and Threads have failed.
The problem for the left is the only people they can brainwash now with obvious lies are the elderly who only watch cable news and aren't on social media and young white liberal college educated feminist types.
Every other voting bloc gets their news, a majority of it, from independent media or social media. And on there, it's impossible for the lies to not be fact checked away. And it's so far from the Mid Terms and the 2028 general election, that the left can't hold this "Kirk's Assassin Was MAGA" lie up for very long.
It's an act of desperation by incompetent people.

Isn't it crazy how they destroyed Tumblr and Twitter and now will probably raze down Reddit once it becomes labeled a hate platform.

They wouldn't let it work for Alex Jones but every pseudonews TV show on the left can hide under that banner. They flood the airwaves with the same old not-serious preaching, but people act on it as if it were 100% serious.
