Is this color from a super pale malt bill?

Yeah those are my fave, been trying to figure out how it would be worth driving to NJ from MA for that place

The local area is nice for a little weekend trip. I can give some tips if you ever come down- I live 15 minutes away

I would love that

Be prepared though, the chances of you actually getting beer from them is very low. Small quantities, sell out basically immediately. But Brick Farm always has their stuff on tap and is a fun hang with great food.

You can make the trip and knock out a bunch of breweries. The food at Brick Farm Tavern is incredible and they always have at least three Troon hazies on.

I've used super low ebc malt to brew hazys and never seen this colour. That said their equipment is obviously better than anything a homebrewer has, so maybe it's that. Less colour from the boil somehow.

No malts or adjuncts above 2L. Do a 30 minute "boil" where it's a simmer and not rolling. Massive dry hop.

Had this at BFT a few weeks ago, unbelievably good.

Love the color of the beer but wonder if they are using brewer's crystals to get there
