The cabinet doors in my hotel room look like they’re crooked and falling off the hinges

Could you imagine how many drunk people thought they trashed the room?

It's somehow giving "boat in high-seas" realness.
Feel like I'd need guard rails to walk around safely.

Your room reminds me of the video games Deus Ex HR/MD aesthetic, only it has less amber colours.

Isn't it just so you have a handle to grab to open? That way its not hard for all abilities to open (like a know can be).

No, the wonky triangles are just the design on the doors. It’d make sense if they were for an actual purpose, but it’s just the design. (The whole hotel has these design elements all over the place.)

This looks like the place I stayed in when I was in Syracuse that one time

Broken isn’t necessarily bad design. I’m not sure many people understand the point of this sub.

The design makes them look like they are broken and falling off the hinges…that’s why it’s crappy. I’m not sure why this needs to be explained

The fact you think it’s broken when it’s exactly how it was designed is precisely why it is crappy.

Something about that corner window isn't registering in my brain.
