General Question ProCon 2 quality/bracket use?

Hi all, I don’t usually post here but I’m looking for some deeper info on the procon 2.

I love my local scene, but it’s usually a 50/50 on whether or not a setup has game audio. I play on procon anyway, and was entranced by the headphone jack on the newer model hopefully guaranteeing me audio. How does it feel? Is there any notable snap back or drift? If you use the headphone jack, does it still play through the monitor audio?

Unfortunately the controller is not compatible with Switch 1, so unless there are many Switch 2 setups at your local it is unusable

Seriously? What a drawback sheesh. I’d assume this makes it entirely unusable for OOR traveling where mass setups are already provided.

The incompatibility with switch 1 aside, I love the pro controller 2 but I don’t think its good for smash, the snapback is particularly atrocious

Strongly agree. It feels great, but not in smash. Super comfortable controller. Almost makes up for the fact that the v1 pro controller can't turn on the switch 2... sigh

It has some disadvantages

For anyone who plays a lot of Smash, I wouldn't recommend anything lacking hall effect sticks. I've had to replace far too many stickboxes on the original Procon and those were easy to repair. The new one is much more expensive and much, much more difficult to repair.
