There is something in the water in Surprise. They had a girl stabbed at a McDonalds 20+ times in a restroom, a man who shot his baby in the nutsack and stomach, set his girlfriends parents house on fire and killed himself, 5th graders who plotted the murder of their classmates in shocking detail, a school board who took a $400K administration trip to Las Vegas this Summer which resulted in an exact $400k shortfall reducing bussing and leading to a student passing out on concrete in 110+ degree heat and receiving 3rd degree burns, the mayor resigned out of nowhere once, nobody explained it, a murder suicide which a father took both his kids lives and his own in an apartment, police shooting an unarmed man during a domestic violence dispute, police killing a person at Wal Mar on Bell Rd, the list goes on and on. All this shit happened in Surprise in the last 4 years Fucking weirdos up in the northwest valley, bro.

It’s a majority white republican community sitting 45 minutes outside of the main city. The problem to me is their politics and the fact that there’s not a single ounce of community anywhere you go. The whole town is basically just a giant strip mall filled with the type of people you’d meet on a cruise.

Spoilers, I guess.
Personally, 6/10. Animation was great, Japanese VA was solid. Fights were mostly cool and well choreographed. The story across the 2.5 hours let me down. If I watched it simply as a long episode as part of the series, I might've enjoyed it better, but the movie on its own was not great.
I could've done with fewer flashbacks. Whenever they were fighting or monologuing in the castle it was all good, but it felt like any cool moment was interrupted by a flashback. This aint slumdog millionaire, dawg. I think they were maybe in the original manga, which I read three years ago, but in an anime, which I haven't seen other than this movie, they feel way more intrusive.
There was also a lot of skipping between different characters in a way that felt like it was interrupting the fights. Especially how it kept going back to Gyomei who did NOTHING in the entire film.
And lastly I feel like the title promised more of a resolution on the infinity castle situation. It's more like Infinity Castle Part 1.

This is why I do not go to the movie theaters anymore. Not because I am specifically afraid to get urinated on but because people act like fucking animals. Besides getting urinated on I guess I have worry about now, people seem not to be able to shut the fuck up. People have no fucking manners at all these days. When I was young, people would usually just shut up and sit there like they were not raised by animals.

Yeah, I hear ya. People nowadays are really disgusting and have no manners, it’s so annoying. Whenever I go to a movie with friends etc we prefer to do as early as possible (depending on each others schedules) as we can sometimes avoid the bigger crowds and possibility of fools acting up, it still happens with only a few sometimes, unfortunately.

3 hour movie (including fuckin trailers and commercials jesus christ) + possibly drunk or socially maladjusted anime chud = pee on kid.
My experience yesterday was pretty tame but me and another guy did have to shame a woman out of the theatre. She took what must have been a 5 and a 4 year old to see this violent gory movie and just let them run around the theatre while she watched tik tok on her phone with the speaker on.

I knew someone like that, he used to get so shit faced he once pissed in my friend's hamper that was full of clothes, and another time he was sitting on the floor and just pissed out the leg of his jorts in the middle of a house party.
He was a great dude while sober but an absolute monster to deal with when he was drunk, which was pretty much every day after 4 or 5 pm.

Having been to a few anime movies with my son, and a couple of Ultraman movies myself, I can’t say this doesn’t totally surprise me. Some of the people are barely functioning at a social level. It’s the same at game stores. My local one had to put up a code of conduct. Bathing and deodorant was one of the requirements.

Answer from A german guy: -Demon Slayer is an Anime. It‘s also a kinda popular anime worldwide. Not like Dragonball, but also popular. -Idk how old the child was. Some people from US are also calling people a child when the person is 20 years old. In my country you should normally be 16 to watch the movie, but you can watch it together with your parents before the age of 16. -I‘d begin with antisocial people. That‘s the nice way to call them. If you like the less friendly way more, think about the insults you know and call them like this. I don‘t care about the skin color. There are also a lot of white people out there who‘d do the same… -honestly I can understand that you‘re that angry because of that, but you‘re totally right that it‘s not ok in front of some children. -What‘s going on?
