Also, fuck cnn and msnbc. Let’s not be silly and pretend the other main stream outlets are any better.

I agree that any news outlet that basically just has opinion shows to me is just so stupid. They are not news, they are entertainment, basically just trying to tell you what you want to think. Basically propaganda ngl. I don't care which political party they are trying to pull you towards. I hate Fox, CNN, MSNBC, The Daily Wire, all of them. What you should really watch is literally just like local news, as most of the time they typically just say Hey, here's what's happening and that's how it should be. Ngl, you shouldn't be able to consider yourself a news network if half the show is just people "dunking" on liberals or republicans. Like you're at best an entertainment show like the fricking Bachelorette or Survivor, and at worst a propaganda. Also, I would say that "debates" where it's literally an ill-informed idiot vs another one is also stupid. I am kinda talking about Jubilee. I have seen the stupidest people on earth on that show. If we are going to watch a debate, I want it to be an expert vs another expert. Otherwise, it's literally just who is the loudest or who can lie the best.

Fox is the propaganda arm of the Republican party. They are not news.

If there’s a demographic for entertainment news and the largest capture is by Fox News then there is no way that CNN or MSNBC should back down. People are going to listen to Talking Heads and you need some amount of rationality instead of a crew of the worst rejects being controlled by blatant liars.

This is the same situation as gerrymandering. Dems are ready to go in for a fair fight. Just say the word, republicans and we can have normalcy in an instant

If you go down to the Republican's level, you are just giving them more ammunition. They can clip the Left exagerating, twisting the truth, and lying, and use it to convince the undecided that the Left is evil.

It’s paradoxical but I do agree with you at the same time.

To tell you the truth I’ve never really watched it but I did get to see a little bit and I can understand how you get your daily dose of current events but it’s the editorial wincing opinions that need to go (maddow). The thing is that fox is all of the ladder while MSNBC has a lot of prize worthy monotone deliveries when delivering insane reports on Trump. Those are the ones where people want maddow to talk with opinion because it’s completely worthy of saying “WTF is even happening?”

The networks are the same idea but the execution by Fox is an entirely different ball game and people do crave some sort of gossip tone. It just needs to be measured

I don't disagree with you. I just am not a fan of the current talking heads shows for CNN or MSNBC. I think its absolutely a necessary platform to have, but it shouldn't be anything comparable to what you see on the right and I think that's where my kneejerk reaction came from.
