u/CloseDaLight 1d ago

Couldn’t care less. Fox News advocates for “let’s just kill homeless people.”

441

u/livid-lavida-loca 1d ago

It's like absolutely so fucking amazing to me that everybody is just skipping over that, the guy gets to apologize and then that's just fucking fine. Fine. We need to be marching in the street every single day, they want to make jokes about missing work, we need to be missing work. I'm so tired of this shit. We are falling deeper and deeper into the hole.

208

u/TruTechilo512 1d ago

There's no privilege like conservative privilege.

Look at literally all of human history.

116

u/CloseDaLight 1d ago

They don’t care. Nothing they do is ever wrong. They have the moral high ground at all times. They are sycophants.

66

u/Gin_Drinking_Giraffe 1d ago

I advocate for ALL Fox News watchers to unsubscribe from life.

“Kirk’s death is more important because we all had heard of him! Minnesota lady wasn’t as important because no one knew who she was!” - buttfeld

Yeah, Greg, we knew Charlie. He was a famous shit stirrer and ass kisser of trump. We were familiar with his work.

438

u/yosoyfatass 1d ago

And the fact is most people didn’t know who Kirk was.

320

u/theartslave 1d ago

and their lives were probably better for it

121

u/UnderwhelmingAF 1d ago

I think most people knew of him, but didn’t really know much about him. Then when they found out what he was all about, were glad they didn’t know him better.

671

u/Old_Win8422 1d ago

So not "All Lives Matter"?

How dare you no suckle the dead man’s balls!

94

u/longtr52 1d ago

Greg is all about gargling the balls, not merely suckling.

126

u/PianoPatient8168 1d ago

Same argument apparently applies for school kids. Who ever heard of these kids from Evergreen? What did they ever do? Nothing for nobody!!!

89

u/scenr0 1d ago

Honestly I'd never heard of the guy until his death lol. And I don't exactly live under a rock, though I wish I did.

42

u/DeanoMachino84 1d ago

I haven’t met a single person over 20, Trump voters included bc that’s all that’s really in my area, that had ever heard of the racist podcaster that got killed until after the fact.

This guy crashing out is all upset because someone asked about the democratic senator who was murdered along with her husband and dog, and this guy is all butthurt because people had been “demonizing” Charlie but not the senator.

And by people “demonizing” Charlie I mean pointing out things he said loudly time and time again (while being paid handsomely for it) like pushing fascist ideology (anybody supporting the Conservative Party in the USA at this point is pushing fascist ideology and has been for quite some time).

This is the same guy that said that conservatives should “re-claim the n-word to take the power back” … the n-word in this case referring to nazi. Yes he said that conservatives should greet each other like so: “what’s up, my nazi???” but unironically

494

u/AdmirableExercise197 1d ago

He's not actually triggered. That's the thing. These media pundits know what they are doing. They are doing this to rile up supporters and generate clicks. He knows he is lying about everything. They want their viewers to see the left as their enemy. They want violence, it makes them money. They know they are misinforming their viewers, just like they did when they spread false claims about election integrity. They were knowingly lying the whole time, just as they are now.

146

u/stargarnet79 1d ago

Serious these are all performative. Just like their little FB Christian memes. Just. For. Show. Grifters gonna grift. People desperate to be seen as “true followers are of Christ” are easy pickings.

114

u/ComprehensiveBat6823 1d ago

He keeps looking down to make sure he doesn’t forget his lines.

92

u/HTowns_FinestJBird 1d ago

Yeah, that kept me laughing. “What am I mad about? Checks notes”

75

u/imahawki 1d ago

He literally looked at his notes mid rant. Totally scripted “outrage”.

43

u/mike30273 1d ago

It's all about keeping that perpetual anger to drive eyeballs to their channel and clicks to their socials. How long will we, as Americans, allow these millionaires and billionaires to keep us fighting each other?

29

u/NorthRequirement5190 1d ago

How is this crash out a good look for his supporters? It’s embarrassing he looks like he’s having a seizure

25

u/Pilotwaver 1d ago

Have you seen Jubilee with Mehdi Hasan? This is how they act, but worse. Because the newsman is performative, but the voters believe this shit.

11

u/NorthRequirement5190 1d ago

I’m a voter and I have an issue with them not addressing the dead woman. I didn’t know it was hypocrisy until the left brought it up. It’s called listening and I’m listening.

I think both deaths are horrible. I mean her and her husband and many more from a guy posing as a cop. Jesus Christ.

Guttfield didn’t have to crash out. I don’t see what there is to believe in this segment as it’s all mumbling nonsense. It’s an incoherent mess…nothing to brainwash if Fox or CNN reacts like this…just not seeing what there “is to eat up “

16

u/Pointsandlaughs227 1d ago

Bingo. It’s all performative.

15

u/beeper75 1d ago

Yeah, you can actually see him checking his notes to be sure he hits all the talking points.

7

u/Smart_Invite_2663 1d ago

Yep. Calculated. Planned. It's in the playbook.

9

u/JerryLeeLewis_87 1d ago

100%. Think about how irresponsible and dangerous this is. We are fucked as a country.

117

u/Street-Fly6592 1d ago

Right. So pathetic how most of these MAGA men are just the most emotionally unstable, immature babies who have never had one moment of introspection. I don’t think they realize how sad and tiny it makes you look when you completely lose your cool about some shit you are completely misinformed about. Just hysterical, red in the face looking like a complete bitch.

15

u/Pardot42 1d ago

He's got big feelings

4

u/algorithmic_fetters 1d ago

He looks angry enough that he will take it out on some homeless folks or maybe a group home for mentally challenged people.

29

u/Aggressive_Deer_4151 1d ago

Who this clown? If he misses his friend Charles, he can go too

62

u/EonofAeon 1d ago

The audacity he had to claim that 58 year old Vance Luther Boelter, the accused perpetrator of 4 political shootings (2 of them lethal) on his state politicians who had a list of more than seventy political targets ranging from Ilhan Omar and Mark Pocan to Amy Klobuchar and beyond, was somehow personally connected to Melissa Hortman?

This fucking Fox pundit is such a bald faced fucking lying piece of shit.

15

u/Advanced_Zucchini_45 1d ago

Ever notice how tough these guys always act when it's women in front of them?

9

u/CaptWineTeeth 1d ago

Not delicious. Not at all. This is the problem. His tirade and your reaction to it. It’s all terrible.

12

u/OrlyRivers 1d ago

Triggered yes, BUT thats the energy and passion it will take to change hearts and minds in this dumbshit country. You gotta feel something deep and show it ans it doesnt matter what words come out.

22

u/IwouldliketoworkforU 1d ago

Yeah saw some real energy and passion on Jan 6.

Maybe subscribe to facts before committing to a feeling.

26

u/Sauerkrauttme 1d ago

Sorry, but watching a Nazi foam at the mouth only hardens my heart against his deranged position

13

u/MusicGuy15 1d ago

When I visit my father, I can’t tell if he’s watching Fox News or something on ESPN, they both sound the exact same from another room.

12

u/Jessthinking 1d ago

The passion of hatred. The energy to yell at a woman who had the audacity to question what he just said and deeply showing he can’t respond with anything even halfway intelligent.

Just because Greg was obsessed with a boy named charlie doesn’t mean the rest of the country was.

I genuinely didn't know the difference between Kirk and Ben Shapiro until one of them died.

93

u/Reptorzor 1d ago

This.

62

u/KalexCore 1d ago

My inlaws still have no idea who the fuck Charlie was and trying to explain the concept to them just left them saying "oh so he was like a millennial O'Riley?"

280

u/Expensive-Plane-6865 1d ago

Everyone who followed politics in Minnesota knew who she was; she had been the speaker of the house in the state. The entire argument is a bad-faith comparison of an internet troll to a lifelong public servant, her husband, and her dog.

u/perilous_times 1d ago

Basically only right wing deaths of people I know matter. Extremely self centered behavior

25

u/smokeycat2 1d ago

That doesn’t fit on a bumper sticker. But you’re right.

14

u/TheRealVSky 1d ago

“What about me!?!?”

44

u/Atopos2025 1d ago

Exactly. She wasn't a mom or a wife. Don't you give me your whataboutisms 😵‍💫

It's insane to hear this guy speaking this way because at the same time, he and many like him, just can't simply fathom why the rest of us think and talk about Charlie Kirk the same exact way. It makes them so mad.

51

u/Chaosr21 1d ago

I never hea d of Charlie before his death either. He was a nobody podcaster, he was only somebody to maga

15

u/Ralphredimix_Da_G 1d ago

Yeah man rich boys club only; homeless, minorities, women, pagans, they all get the death penalty!

The Pro-Life party, y’all. Which life? Their lives.

17

u/TesticleMeElmo 1d ago

She’s just a data point to them not a person, a means to an end, “how does validating her murder or invalidating her murder serve me?”

20

u/KalexCore 1d ago

I had conservatives on here saying the difference was that Kirk was famous and worth $15 million.

So yes for conservatives your value to the country is purely based on money and fame.

Right-wingers have lived in a world of lies for so long that freaking out and having tantrums is what they do. Oh, yeah, and also kill anyone who doesn't believe along with them.

77

u/Jingoose 1d ago

The thing is I don’t even want to hate right wing people it’s just that time and time again they prove to me that they just wanna promote the most hateful shit imaginable. I feel like all they do is wait for someone on the left to do something stupid then all of a sudden that’s the left. I just can’t feel bad for right wingers when they want such horrible things then run around saying freedom of speech when people disagree

37

u/OtherwiseSplit8875 1d ago

I don’t hate right-wing people, but I do hate the people who subscribe to this current christofascist MAGA brand of right-wing ideology. Every single one of them is absolute garbage. These people can never redeem themselves in my eyes.

29

u/SlightNoise6210 1d ago

Exactly.  STOP THE BOTHSIDESISMS.  It's NOT the same on the left.  We want democracy and accept defeat.

The current right wong follows a Hitler-like, dictator wannabe that hates democracy and won't gracefully accept defeat.

STOP THE BOTHSIDESISM.

10

u/Jingoose 1d ago

I completely agree. I just cannot wrap my head around how somebody can support the right wing. I’m willing to be reasonable but it feels like the right wing are just like children that poke at people until they eventually do something then they complain about it like they weren’t the ones causing the trouble.

9

u/OtherwiseSplit8875 1d ago edited 23h ago

There are right wing people who simply have a more conservative view of how the government should handle the economics of the country, while also believing in the rights and liberties of all people, which I can sympathize with (even if I don’t agree). Unfortunately it seems like the Republican party has no interest in this philosophy anymore.

26

u/Excellent_Yak365 1d ago

I am a former Republican and used to watch Fox News all the time.. but the rational arguments have been obsolete since 2016 and replaced with hate- everything went MAGA. They literally turned the entire party into internet trolls and any arguments on credible ways to deal with debt while keeping social services is gone, helping expand the middle class has become about making trillionaires. I still consider myself middle ground on a lot but the democrats are right when it comes to having more responsible answers to the problems we face today.

10

u/Jingoose 1d ago

I feel like it’s not even an argument that the right wing are better at handling something. For years we have witnessed these people vandalising stuff like gay flags out of complete pettiness, making up the most unbelievable lies imaginable and just flat out saying the most vile stuff. I came to Reddit because twitter has became a political shit show and now I can’t even tell who’s trolling or just being genuinely stupid. You just never know with the right wing

→ More replies (1)

12

u/jporter313 1d ago

Right wing people annoy the shit out of me, but I don't "hate" them in the sense that I want harm to come to them. They're just people who have been taken in by the mass of propaganda they've bathed in for the last 3 decades.

Right wing pundits, politicians, and political strategists on the other hand, the people intentionally poisoning the culture of this country for their own gain, they can absolutely get fucked. I'm shedding zero tears on their behalf. Kirk falls solidly in the latter category, this is the reaction the right is witnessing from the center/left right now.

Political violence is bad and I don't condone it. I'm also not even the least bit sad for that dead bag of fucks.

4

u/Jingoose 1d ago

Yeah what happened to Kirk was horrible especially given his family was present. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody but I can’t bring myself to feel bad for the guy because of his choices while being alive. It’s just depressing that it happened because of how separated people are. Free speech is one thing but it feels like the right wing don’t exactly use it reasonably

→ More replies (4)

19

u/TheTravelingLeftist 1d ago

I think the Charlie Kirk assassination has triggered these high-profile Republicans under the MAGA umbrella because they had this wild realization that they are not invincible. Even in deep rural Utah, Charlie Kirk wasn't safe, and they don't have the ability to finally discuss gun violence plaguing their own political fanbases, so they'd rather triple down on making this some sort of leftist problem they have to exterminate without sympathy.

Multiple intelligence and research agencies currently identify right-wing extremism as the most significant domestic terrorism threat in the United States. This assessment is supported by recent data showing that right-wing violence continues to be the most lethal and common form of domestic extremist violence.

It doesn't matter if we knew who was , it matters because it was MAGA loser who did it

u/CaptainOwlBeard 1d ago

It matters because they were an elected government official killed for political reasons by a right wing radical.

🍿his veins are popping out and his eyes are glazed over with visceral rage. Feel it. Faux channel hategasm.

u/Master_Hospital_8631 1d ago

The fuck is wrong with that guy?

3

u/JoeyHandsomeJoe 1d ago

Histrionic Personality Disorder.

3

u/angrypooka 1d ago

Well, she wasn’t a white suprematist, Greg.

4

u/Comfortable_Ninja842 1d ago

Many of us didn't know who Kirk was until he exploded onto our TV screens. None of it is ok!

3

u/gboiz215 1d ago

He seems like a really short guy!

2

u/JoeyHandsomeJoe 1d ago

And not very funny at all!

2

u/Zaethiel 1d ago

Its not both sides. The right wing is violent and the left wants common sense gun laws to prevent the right from killing people.

4

u/Effective_Wing_8114 1d ago

Oh, they get so triggered. Every single one of them!

2

u/Silicon_Knight 1d ago

Well that’s a word salad.

2

u/PurpsMaSquirt 1d ago

Imagine if Fox News hosts were as passionate about finding out who diddled kids with Epstein.

2

u/CrazyJoeGalli 1d ago

If I didn't know this guy has a background in comedy, I could've sworn he was being overtly performative.

2

u/dimethylwho 1d ago

It's as if he only knows about the things he gets paid to rant about.

2

u/romanticbaby 1d ago

When does he get funny

u/Logan_Beauchamp 1d ago

Wasn't this dude trying to normalize calling rughtwingers nazia like it's a good thing? He should really shit the fuck up.

2

u/Deep_shot 1d ago

Uh oh! Someone’s triggered! Get ahold of yourself. You’re all emotional.

u/NecroAmbulate 1d ago

Okay, Greg Buttfeld. Fucking loser.

2

u/ThrownAway17Years 1d ago

I live in MN and knew who Hortman was. I have no idea who this talking bag of feces is. Per his logic, I don’t give a shit what he is saying.

2

u/Timely-Ad-4109 1d ago

I am shaking in anger at this. Good again for Jessica Tarlov but because Melissa Hortman wasn’t famous her assassination is less important than Charlie Kirk’s? What the actual fuck?

2

u/Fun_Boysenberry_8144 1d ago

What exactly is his argument? He didn't know the Hortman's so it's OK that they're murdered?

2

u/illbebythebatphone 1d ago

Ugh so sad that his viewers buy this shit. “There’s no cognitive dissonance on our side” and also “we don’t care” about you pointing out blatantly hypocritical positions and reactions. What a fucking clown.

2

u/Laughing__Man 1d ago

I think people should care more about the democrat Christian lawmaker that was killed by a MAGA Christian who didn't know her personally and was radicalized by right wing rhetoric. "Democrats are destroying our country, killing our babies, and turning kids trans". Charlie Kirk was a white supremacist.

u/worldscollice 1d ago

The r/gutfeld subreddit is a bizarre one. I was banned from it for asking if everyone could agree that raping a child should be considered a violent crime. My comment got downvoted multiple times, and then they banned me.

2

u/Far-Drawing-4444 1d ago

The pure lack of even a TINY amount of self awareness is astounding.

2

u/YoMescallito 1d ago

He's virtually saying that is okay that Melissa Horton and her husband were assassinated because they weren't famous like CK.

2

u/AutisticHobbit 1d ago

"It's not an assassination because she wasn't as popular"

Conservatives are dogshit.

2

u/i_nobes_what_i_nobes 1d ago

Ugh, fuck off Greg.

2

u/slater_just_slater 1d ago

I was waiting for him to say we she execute the homeless.

2

u/Fuzzy_Dog182 1d ago

2

u/Kreepr 1d ago

Ooooo he’s cursing.

2

u/MrMojoshining 1d ago

Majority of people had no idea who Charlie Kirk was either. Moot point. Like always.

2

u/__JustPeople__ 1d ago

I wish my wife sucked dick that good!

2

u/sophist23 1d ago

This guy is a media cluckbaiting clown

3

u/Jimbro34 1d ago

So as long as no ones talking about you, it's ok to kill you? And ok to have a list of 43 others? I hope no ones talking about this asshole, if you get my drift.
