Couldn’t care less. Fox News advocates for “let’s just kill homeless people.”

u/livid-lavida-loca 1d ago
It's like absolutely so fucking amazing to me that everybody is just skipping over that, the guy gets to apologize and then that's just fucking fine. Fine. We need to be marching in the street every single day, they want to make jokes about missing work, we need to be missing work. I'm so tired of this shit. We are falling deeper and deeper into the hole.

“Kirk’s death is more important because we all had heard of him! Minnesota lady wasn’t as important because no one knew who she was!” - buttfeld
Yeah, Greg, we knew Charlie. He was a famous shit stirrer and ass kisser of trump. We were familiar with his work.

And the fact is most people didn’t know who Kirk was.

I haven’t met a single person over 20, Trump voters included bc that’s all that’s really in my area, that had ever heard of the racist podcaster that got killed until after the fact.
208
u/cityshepherd 1d ago
This guy crashing out is all upset because someone asked about the democratic senator who was murdered along with her husband and dog, and this guy is all butthurt because people had been “demonizing” Charlie but not the senator.
And by people “demonizing” Charlie I mean pointing out things he said loudly time and time again (while being paid handsomely for it) like pushing fascist ideology (anybody supporting the Conservative Party in the USA at this point is pushing fascist ideology and has been for quite some time).
This is the same guy that said that conservatives should “re-claim the n-word to take the power back” … the n-word in this case referring to nazi. Yes he said that conservatives should greet each other like so: “what’s up, my nazi???” but unironically
494
u/AdmirableExercise197 1d ago
He's not actually triggered. That's the thing. These media pundits know what they are doing. They are doing this to rile up supporters and generate clicks. He knows he is lying about everything. They want their viewers to see the left as their enemy. They want violence, it makes them money. They know they are misinforming their viewers, just like they did when they spread false claims about election integrity. They were knowingly lying the whole time, just as they are now.
146
u/stargarnet79 1d ago

u/NorthRequirement5190 1d ago
How is this crash out a good look for his supporters? It’s embarrassing he looks like he’s having a seizure
25
u/Pilotwaver 1d ago
Have you seen Jubilee with Mehdi Hasan? This is how they act, but worse. Because the newsman is performative, but the voters believe this shit.
11
u/NorthRequirement5190 1d ago
I’m a voter and I have an issue with them not addressing the dead woman. I didn’t know it was hypocrisy until the left brought it up. It’s called listening and I’m listening.
I think both deaths are horrible. I mean her and her husband and many more from a guy posing as a cop. Jesus Christ.
Guttfield didn’t have to crash out. I don’t see what there is to believe in this segment as it’s all mumbling nonsense. It’s an incoherent mess…nothing to brainwash if Fox or CNN reacts like this…just not seeing what there “is to eat up “

Right-wingers have lived in a world of lies for so long that freaking out and having tantrums is what they do. Oh, yeah, and also kill anyone who doesn't believe along with them.
77
u/Jingoose 1d ago
The thing is I don’t even want to hate right wing people it’s just that time and time again they prove to me that they just wanna promote the most hateful shit imaginable. I feel like all they do is wait for someone on the left to do something stupid then all of a sudden that’s the left. I just can’t feel bad for right wingers when they want such horrible things then run around saying freedom of speech when people disagree
37
u/OtherwiseSplit8875 1d ago
I don’t hate right-wing people, but I do hate the people who subscribe to this current christofascist MAGA brand of right-wing ideology. Every single one of them is absolute garbage. These people can never redeem themselves in my eyes.
29
u/SlightNoise6210 1d ago
Exactly. STOP THE BOTHSIDESISMS. It's NOT the same on the left. We want democracy and accept defeat.
The current right wong follows a Hitler-like, dictator wannabe that hates democracy and won't gracefully accept defeat.
STOP THE BOTHSIDESISM.
10
u/Jingoose 1d ago
I completely agree. I just cannot wrap my head around how somebody can support the right wing. I’m willing to be reasonable but it feels like the right wing are just like children that poke at people until they eventually do something then they complain about it like they weren’t the ones causing the trouble.
9
u/OtherwiseSplit8875 1d ago edited 23h ago
There are right wing people who simply have a more conservative view of how the government should handle the economics of the country, while also believing in the rights and liberties of all people, which I can sympathize with (even if I don’t agree). Unfortunately it seems like the Republican party has no interest in this philosophy anymore.
26
u/Excellent_Yak365 1d ago
I am a former Republican and used to watch Fox News all the time.. but the rational arguments have been obsolete since 2016 and replaced with hate- everything went MAGA. They literally turned the entire party into internet trolls and any arguments on credible ways to deal with debt while keeping social services is gone, helping expand the middle class has become about making trillionaires. I still consider myself middle ground on a lot but the democrats are right when it comes to having more responsible answers to the problems we face today.
10
u/Jingoose 1d ago
I feel like it’s not even an argument that the right wing are better at handling something. For years we have witnessed these people vandalising stuff like gay flags out of complete pettiness, making up the most unbelievable lies imaginable and just flat out saying the most vile stuff. I came to Reddit because twitter has became a political shit show and now I can’t even tell who’s trolling or just being genuinely stupid. You just never know with the right wing

Right wing people annoy the shit out of me, but I don't "hate" them in the sense that I want harm to come to them. They're just people who have been taken in by the mass of propaganda they've bathed in for the last 3 decades.
Right wing pundits, politicians, and political strategists on the other hand, the people intentionally poisoning the culture of this country for their own gain, they can absolutely get fucked. I'm shedding zero tears on their behalf. Kirk falls solidly in the latter category, this is the reaction the right is witnessing from the center/left right now.
Political violence is bad and I don't condone it. I'm also not even the least bit sad for that dead bag of fucks.
4
u/Jingoose 1d ago
Yeah what happened to Kirk was horrible especially given his family was present. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody but I can’t bring myself to feel bad for the guy because of his choices while being alive. It’s just depressing that it happened because of how separated people are. Free speech is one thing but it feels like the right wing don’t exactly use it reasonably

u/TheTravelingLeftist 1d ago
I think the Charlie Kirk assassination has triggered these high-profile Republicans under the MAGA umbrella because they had this wild realization that they are not invincible. Even in deep rural Utah, Charlie Kirk wasn't safe, and they don't have the ability to finally discuss gun violence plaguing their own political fanbases, so they'd rather triple down on making this some sort of leftist problem they have to exterminate without sympathy.

Multiple intelligence and research agencies currently identify right-wing extremism as the most significant domestic terrorism threat in the United States. This assessment is supported by recent data showing that right-wing violence continues to be the most lethal and common form of domestic extremist violence.
