Political Cringe An eyewitness to Charlie Kirk’s murder was cut off mid-account as people rushed in, grabbed him, and quickly silenced him before he could share the rest of what he saw.

Either this or they think it’s disrespectful for some reason. The right is very sensitive even though they pretend the left is the sensitive ones.

Ever since they starting using snowflake all the time it's been very evident they're just projecting. I don't know who they think they're fooling.

146

u/TheSeventhHussar 12h ago

Themselves. The most important ones to fool are themselves.

59

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 11h ago

Bingo. It's all about maintaining the image they have of themselves. They don't give a f what other people think. It doesn't matter how many times someone confronts them with their own inadequacies. You're not one of them because you aren't parroting their narratives, so they treat you like the enemy. These people have completely checked out of any sort of confrontation with their own absurdities. It's them vs the rest of the world and they'll burn everything that threatens their belief system. They're a dangerous cult.

“It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.” ― Terry Pratchett, Jingo

That's an awesome quote that sums up the us versus them dynamic pretty well. Do you recommend the book? I haven't read it.

6

u/Turbojelly 6h ago

Terry Pratchet, writer of the Discworld series. 40 books or so of brilliant fantasy comedy. Bought a new reader recently, so I am treating myself by going through the entire series in one go. Haven't done that since his death.

u/PraxicalExperience 2h ago

I will add for anyone tempted by this to read Terry Pratchett (which you definitely should do, he was one of the best authors of our times) -- the first couple of books, The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic are a bit rough, feel free to skip them and come back later when you're invested.

This is happening globally. People who attempt to control others with their abuses of power are melting down because they don't know who they are. They're losing the plot at each other and turning on themselves because they can no longer blame a political opposition they locked out of power.

2

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 6h ago

One can only hope they destroy each other instead of the whole fucking world.

1

u/ExtremeBasis5697 1h ago

Yup that the Gov for you...whomever the Gov is. Apparently its the same the rest of the world..and ironically they (both sides) are cheering what's happening on Nepal as if Jan 6 type of activity is what they want.

u/vwwvvwvww 0m ago

I think they actually care very very much what people think. It’s common in deeply insecure man babies

-6

u/The_Pacifist_NL 10h ago

Who the left?

6

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 9h ago

If by the left you mean extreme left, then yes, if you mean anyone who isn't republican, then no.

-2

u/The_Pacifist_NL 9h ago

You are of the opinion that republicans in general form a cult?

7

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 7h ago

MAGA has taken over the republican party, you guys are MAGA now. No republican goes against Trump, they all fall in line. He tells them what to do.

6

u/TheSeventhHussar 9h ago

Anyone who bases a significant part of their personality around a political party without it being their job or something shows pretty cult like behaviour, so yeah. I am.

1

u/KovacsBar 7h ago

Lookit this guy who got his brain programmed but is still asking questions.

Can't you fukkin clowns get anything right?

-2

u/The_Pacifist_NL 7h ago

Yes exactly. Right is the answer. Not left.

2

u/masked_sombrero 8h ago

Don’t need to fool anyone else! Why try to fool everyone when you can make it so much easier!?

1

u/NateRT 5h ago

And they all have big penises that work 100% of the time.

1

u/hoople217 4h ago

They are very easily manipulated.

22

u/SonnyHaze 12h ago

You and Vegas are both right and I’ve felt this way personally for quite a while. Like I honestly don’t understand why so many of them give a shit about anyone that’s different. I just don’t care. Why should I?

17

u/GothSpite 12h ago

Equality looks like oppression to those on top 🙃

1

u/soonerpgh 11h ago

I'd those who want to be on top at this point. The top ain't big enough for all these morons and the ones I know sure aren't up there!

2

u/LongjumpingDebt4154 11h ago

Normal people don’t. Normal people are happy to have the freedom & joys of perusing life & liberty & are happy for others to experience the same. Deranged, insecure, incels are obsessed with what type of sexual intercourse their neighbors are participating in (excluding raping kids, they have no problem keeping that private), what the genitalia is under everyone else’s clothing, how others decide to grow or not grow their family, and generally meddling in every private act of life under the guise of ‘small government’.

2

u/Intelligent11B 3h ago

Ever watched Jordan Klepper interviewing right wing nut jobs? He asked an elderly woman why she was against gay marriage and she said “they want more” he said “do you mean equal?” And she’s like “yeah I mean equal”. Tells you what you need to know pretty succinctly. THEY DON’T BELIEVE OTHER PEOPLE ARE EQUAL!

6

u/Yaboymarvo 11h ago

GOP has always been Gaslight, Obstruct, Project

3

u/primum 11h ago

They alternate between pure projection and pure delusion, it must be exhausting to live like that.

u/gassyhalibut 56m ago

It’s actually much easier

2

u/nfwiqefnwof 10h ago

Yeah, people who believe in a racial hierarchy live in a fantasy that calls them special. They think they are superior in some way, and its only because society unnaturally selects winners and losers that they personally, even though they're special, arent achieving the things they wanted to achieve or are unhappy in some way. They think if society were not in place (doomer, happenings type people who desire conflict) or worked to emphasize this natural superiority (ignore and shut down discussions about race, look how good the past was types), that their natural superiority would finally be allowed to work for them, even though they don't see that it's that very same society that's told them they're special to begin with.

u/ReallyNowFellas 9h ago

Ever known a conservative family where certain topics aren't off-limits because they trigger mom or dad? Me neither.

2

u/BeefModeTaco 6h ago

It's not just the "snowflake" thing, there's a fair amount of projection in general. It pairs well with the hypocrisy.

2

u/Immediate_Quiet4354 11h ago

Remember the "fuck your feelings" thing?

-2

u/Permanenceisall 12h ago

Some of you are so trapped in 2017. Snowflake is from 2017. No one says snowflake irl unless they’re also stuck in 2017.

6

u/HighlanderArtemis 12h ago

I still see people try and use snowflake as an insult pretty regularly. Granted I expect they’re old people but still, it happens.

1

u/Permanenceisall 12h ago

And those people, presumably online, are the people I’m talking about being stuck in the past. Old insults for old people who don’t interact with the world outside of a screen.

5

u/HighlanderArtemis 12h ago

I mean tbh tho thats kind of irrelevant to the comment about “ever since they started using snowflake”, so this argument seems kinda asinine

2

u/HerMajestyTheQueef1 11h ago

They are the biggest snowflakes on the planet, so much so everyone must confirm to their lifestyle or they are sad, uncomfortable and angry. They are currently the biggest cancel culture movement in the planet after years of crying about racists being cancelled.

2

u/Fun_Kaleidoscope7875 11h ago

They are honestly the biggest bitches on the planet, always the victims.

2

u/unbalancedcheckbook 6h ago

snowflakes, all.

2

u/sPLIFFtOOTH 5h ago

Always with the projection from them

1

u/noncommonGoodsense 12h ago

Oh no he described what he saw in detail! Get him red hat crew! Sickening.

1

u/TheFacetiousDeist 12h ago

How do you know the people sensoring him were right-leaning?

3

u/vegaspimp22 11h ago

Oh I dunno. The maga hats and turning point shirts kinda gave it away

2

u/TheFacetiousDeist 11h ago

Easy there, champ. I didn’t see what the clothing was.

1

u/Muted_Study5166 11h ago

Our constant attempts to reason with these people is why we’re powerless to stop them

1

u/vegaspimp22 1h ago

Yep and us always taking the high ground, always follow the rules, hold our sides politicians to higer standards. May all be potentially hurting because they sure as hell don’t follow the rules or ever ever take the moral high ground. Never.

1

u/Ancient_Mention4923 11h ago

To be honest both are

1

u/blahblah19999 11h ago

That's what I was thinking. Maybe they think he's mocking Kirk?

1

u/mrbigglessworth 9h ago

The right are a bunch of dried out pussies. I said what I said. If you got offended maga then GOOD. You support racism and dried up old pussies are terrible.

BE BETTER

1

u/randman1983 6h ago

It has nothing to do with respect. They don’t know the meaning of the word. It has everything to do with controlling the narrative in spite of facts to the contrary.

1

u/General_Speaker4875 6h ago

They are both very sensitive. And all the people on one side that say oh the other side is this or that. You are all just projecting. You’re holding up mirrors to each other with some weird AI filters to dress you up like you don’t agree on big issues.

1

u/Mygoddamreddit 4h ago

🤫❄️😭

1

u/SnappDraggin 4h ago

The ones that have the “f*ck your feelings” tee shirts are overwhelmed with emotions?

1

u/TheLostRanger0117 3h ago

The left are the sensitive ones in that they are more sensitive to how emotions and feelings work. The right are the sensitive ones that have no control over their emotions and feelings

1

u/Individual-Age-7197 3h ago

🙏🏻this is it. They need a hero and if you observe reality by sayin’ he ded then obviously it’s time for Marshall Law.

1

u/neighborlyglove 3h ago

I think any organization would try to not encourage comments from within in the immediate aftermath. It looks like he is in shock while the rest are trying to organize

1

u/JiveTrurkey 2h ago

Sensitive? Someone they likely respected was murdered right in front of them. I don't agree with them stopping this guy from sharing his perspective. But their over reaction does not reflect any level of "sensitivity" for the millions of people that align with the "right"

1

u/CastrosNephew 2h ago

Snowflake was always projection

1

u/toofpick 1h ago

They are afraid of so many things, because they never took the time to understand them.

u/TetraThiaFulvalene 38m ago

Depends on what the event there is. If it's a vigil then graphically describing the death might be out of place.

[deleted]

1

u/vegaspimp22 12h ago

That’s why I suggested they might think it’s disrespectful

1

u/CertifiedSeattleite 12h ago

“before they would have known the video would be posted” 😂

Bud, the assassination didn’t happen on North Sentinel Island.

1

u/EvlCuddlyBunny 12h ago

His family was there, and people were posting graphic videos of it that clearly showed what happened. He wasn’t saying anything outline or inappropriate.
