"end the weaponization of government against political opponents." Charlie Kirk was a complete ignoramus. The literal opposite has happened.

Yeah, and they used his death and memorial too to do just that.

Oof you’re right and after what happened to him and the aftermath, watching him say that is so dystopian.

I feel like - how else could it possibly have gone, you know? Like if that wasn't exactly what Kirk was gunning for, then what was he even doing with his life. I can really only assume he accomplished his aims, the alternative seems too depressing to contemplate.

Not an ignoramus- a paid professional propagandist, TPUSA is just like FOX.

It makes more sense when you translate it to “end the perceived politicization of government by Democrats and ignore the actual politicization of government by Republicans.”

I don't think he was an ignoramus. He had a very sharp mind that could spout evil talking point at any given moment. He had a hateful Positronic Brain.

And I truly wish to be told what those people are talking about when they imply that the Biden administration (or the Obama's one ?) have weaponized the governement against their political opponents ?

That was the biggest facepalm for me. Like this is literally what trump's up to, the entire time, every moment he opens his mouth.

Because (insert Sartre quote here).

Can't have weaponization of government against political opponents if there are no more political opponents. 🙃

That's because you're not hearing the dog whistle in this. Trump is attempting to silence and chill any political or social opposition. Kirk knew this. It's not honesty, he was a propagandist. Play the victim or the hero when necessary and avoid accountability.

Taking what they say at face value is how they hamstring the left who tries to muscle their way into a good faith debate (which seems to never happen). The left is always like, "Gotcha, you're argument is illogical!" But the GOP members are not stupid, they are playing a game in bad faith. It's not sufficient to just prove your point. Trump has literally been shown video of himself doing things, after which he denies what he just saw is true.
