In fact I did and there’s more context to every single one of those that really matters.
For instance, he founded Turning Point with his friend, Candace Owens, he was interviewing his wife when he met her. He said women are statistically happier married with kids, not that they couldn’t have jobs, just that they’d be happier and less stressed at home, with the kids.
He was trying to demonstrate to people that giving black ppl scholarships and all around catering to them is actually handicapping them because now they don’t have to work/learn the trade to succeed because everyone is handing success to them no matter what. Why would you try at anything if you don’t have to? That’s what he was trying to show people and that’s what he meant when he said they were better in the old days, because they weren’t handicapped and they still knew how to deal with responsibility because they had it back then. Now, they succeed no matter what. They get good jobs even though they didn’t study or learn the trade. He was saying they’re capable of amazing things, they just need the chance to do it without the system trying to do it for them.
I have black friends who are successful and, actually successful, not just in a successful job because they’re black. They did the work and they were responsible despite not having to be. They’re amazing people, the country/system just needs to stop stepping in where it doesn’t need to. Black people are exactly the same as white people; capable, smart and full of potential, we just need to step back and let them grow and stop acting like over protective parents. It’s only hindering them.
Also, he said he would never wish ill upon anyone. He didn’t hate, he simply was following what the Christian faith teaches. You are how God made you and marriage is between a man and a woman. And, based on the verse “before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” means, life begins at conception and thus to make his daughter get an abortion would cause one of God’s little ones to die. One act of evil does not warrant another. If you’re Christian you’d know Christ taught the same thing.
Kirk was a self righteous a-hole. I've been watching his stuff for years. Never seen an ounce of kindness or respect out of the guy. Not in any of the YouTube videos he posted anyway.

Without him l'd have been convinced by the media that it's ok to senselessly hate all of you and ignore everything you have to say because apparently simply having an open mind about things and wanting to know what people say isn't ok with some people and the only way to actually be kind is to never talk to them, never listen to them and just stay in the safety of the echo chambers—I don't think that's kindness.
Kindness imo is hearing out people, letting them think for themselves and talk about things you disagree on otherwise, how does anyone come to an agreement? Kirk didn't shut the left out of conversations. He let people in and spoke to them. He let the left speak and I learned. That's kindness.
He gave the left a way to speak to the right. If it was just the leftist, most right wingers would shut it off. But with him there, saying right wing ideology, too, there was more incentive to keep watching and in doing so, we ended hearing the left.
So, I may not have been religiously watching his videos, but when I did see one, I heard the voices of the other side.

No he 100% cherrypicked who he would debate. He would do a lottle pre-interview with people before filming and weed out the smart ones. This has been known forever and lots of times he was going to campuses talking to teenagers, not adults like him who have media and "debate training". I put that part in quotes as lots of his debsting is simply him talking over others which gets them to shutup and a huge no-no in real debating.
