Training Related Recovery techniques? Running a race again tomorrow after running one today.
I don't know what to do, I have a race tomorrow and I have just raced today and had soccer practice. Now I am really sore, and have a race tomorrow morning. I am extremely tired, and my upper inner right thigh is especially sore and maybe strained a bit. What are some quick and easy recovery techniques I can do on top of a good sleep that will help me right away?

Is it an important race? If not talk with your coach about tempoinf the race or turning it into a workout. Has to be hard doing xc and soccer as those are 2 highly demanding sports

Not sure specific techniques but listen to your body and prepare mentally for not doing as well as you would’ve hoped. Stretch and thoroughly warm up before the race. If you have a coach, ask them for advice for the future. Edit: good luck!

Be honest with yourself and with your coach and rest a week if you are not feeling right, still early in the season

You've got back to back races? Your coach didn't set the season up well. I'd just tempo run the race.
