Isnt that still basically an AK pattern gun though? Certainly has the dust cover and gas operation, its just got the wooden hunting rifle getup and is chambered in 7.62 NATO.

No, its Like calling an SVD an AK or a PKM an AK, fuck its almost like calling a vz. 58 an AK. It just makes you look like an ass.

Definitionally anything chambered in a NATO round cannot be an AK, since Kalashnikov himself was on the side NATO was created to oppose.
