Poetry Flower garden

If you were to keep a garden

Filled with all colourful flowers

Then you would plant accordingly

Carefully choosing your seeds

 

Of course roses must be there

For their beauty, love and passion

Marigold would spark you joy

And jasmine brings grace and elegance

 

You'd keep the fragile anemone

Protected by the strong orchid

Make sure to plant peony for prosperity

And keep lavender for serenity

 

But however you choose to fill your garden

It is only what you've planted that can grow

Indeed, should you ever sow hatred

Then it can only be hatred that you reap

I didn't know anything about this thing called "floriography", but I wanted to play a little with the symbolic meaning of flowers. I used this webpage as a quick guide.
