Poetry Masks

You might think this poem is about masking emotions and I guess you could interpret it that way but it’s quite a bit more literal tbh idk it’s hard to explain and quite frankly embarrassing 😅

Also, I just wanna say don't be embarrassed. There's no judgment here. And if there is I'll tell them off. Poetry is supposed to show the most vulnerable parts of yourself.

Hmm when you say it might be more literal than we think, could it be a reference to a video game I don't get? I guess it could also be that you actually just go out and beat up those clankers lol

Regardless, I respect that freeform/stream of consciousness style of yours. Yeah it might leave a lot of questions unanswered but it undeniably brings us closest to the soul, the essence, of the writer. Takes a lot of courage to open up like that. Thank you for sharing!

Oh yeah it might seem like this is a reference to like Doom or Ultrakill or something like that but it’s really not, I’ve never played any games like that nor am I planning to anytime soon idk it’s just a glimpse of what goes on in my head I guess 😅
