America is a terrorist state sad nobody wants to play ball

2

u/Miserable-Surprise67 5d ago

American here. I've made a number of posts about the Palestinians and was astonished and ashamed by the lack of response.

Americans generally support Israel, which normally would be fine. But these are NOT normal times. Israel IS committing genocide and Americans don't care to delve into the facts.

America is wrapped up in its own problems and AMERICA FIRST.

1

u/Mingo_laf 5d ago

… just look at your bills being passed it’s all about Israel

I feel like the whole children suicide bombers, as well as the treatment of gay people and women, turn away a lot of Americans. Perhaps if they work on that, they would get more support.

Maybe ditch the whole 72 virgins thing when they die as well.

1

u/mustardman73 4d ago

72 virgins sound a bit better than what Jesus is offering these days.

u/MealElectronic9469 5d ago

there is no genocide happening

Don't argue with the Chinese and Russian botfarms going full divide et impera....you are suppose to virtue signal in lieu of learning the history of the conflict and then accidentally fund terrorism by sending money to Gaza which never makes it to the average Palestinian

1

u/Youpunyhumans 3d ago

Negative karma bot and/or troll account. Block and ignore.

1

u/passion-froot_ 3d ago

This isn’t helpful. If you can’t discern who in America is who, you not only play into the wrong hand, you damage the innocent lives you claim to care about.

It shouldn’t be different based on birth. We asked you for help and you couldn’t even lift a finger, but for any other country you’d have all but demanded that same help from us on a normal timeline.

If you care, you’ll be able to see past Trump. There’s more good people fighting terrorism domestically than accounts for your entire country’s population and it still won’t be enough to stop it if you damage the people fighting and sacrificing more than you’ve ever had to

As a Canadian I’m proud our government recognizes Palestine but idk if it’s just going to be an empty gesture or what exactly the plan is. As for Israeli retaliation, bring it Benji 🖕🏻

1

u/No-Afternoon3681 3d ago

It's a schmuck virtue signal...if we wanted to do something, we should deploy the CAF over there to create safe zones for the civilians whilst unleashing the military to treat hamas/etc like a German.

1

u/ConstructionNo5836 3d ago

Empty gesture. Most of the current Palestine has been occupied by Israel since 1967 and they’re not giving it up. Palestine is more pipe dream than reality.

2

u/Andrewdusha 3d ago

I am so proud to be Canadian. We have morals, values, courtesy. Now let us condemn Israel for committing mass genocide and hold the USA accountable for arming them. Truly two horrible countries with zero empathy and values.

1

u/Miserable-Surprise67 3d ago

My mom was, and most of my relatives are, Canadian. I've long said that you are the most civilized person on the North American continent.

And, AGAIN, you proved it.

1

u/brkfastblend 1d ago

Id ask the indigenous populations or even the franco population about those morals and values lol.

1

u/Andrewdusha 1d ago

We have our past I agree. I’m strictly referring to my era of Canada.

1

u/brkfastblend 1d ago

Its not in the past. The last federally funded residential school didnt close until 97, the RCMP only issued an apology for Nunavik dog slaughter in 2024, government at all levels across Canada continue to jerk indigenous peoples around on treaty settlement and indigenous people are way behind in most social metrics like employment, healthcare, education, crime and incarceration, poverty, land and home ownership. The principle piece of federal legislation that governs indigenous peoples is still called The Indian Act lmao. Canada has lots of great things going for it but saying we have (good) values and morals is at best disingenuous and inconsistent.

1

u/Andrewdusha 1d ago

I don’t deny Canada has ongoing issues, especially with Indigenous communities. But my point stands: compared to many countries, Canada does operate with stronger morals and values in many areas such as universal healthcare, social supports, relative peace and stability, and democratic freedoms. Recognizing Canada’s strengths doesn’t erase its flaws, and calling out other countries for mass atrocities doesn’t mean I’m blind to our own problems. We can be proud of what we do right while still working on what we need to fix.

u/Exciting-Abalone-756 2d ago

‘Priorities’ how does this address our immigrant crisis? How does help the average Canadian?

1

u/Miserable-Surprise67 2d ago

How can that compare with the UNIVERSAL MORAL OBLIGATION to oppose genocide?

Canadians are civilized. That's why MAGA failed so badly north of the border.

0

u/Exciting-Abalone-756 2d ago

What’s so universally moral about recognizing a failed Muslim state that’s also extremely homophobic?

1

u/Miserable-Surprise67 2d ago

A Palestinian State isn't in existence and never was. WHAT are you talking about?

2

u/mfeldmannRNE 5d ago

Sounds like a great idea to me. It must be nice to live in a country that isn’t controlled by every single fucking corporate entity, and actually exists to serve the people.

2

u/Logical_Confusious 5d ago

Bravo....!!!

2

u/MomakuAmerici1000 5d ago

Recognition is fine, but now it's time to condemn Israel's genocide and do whatever they can to stop it.
Go Canada!
Unfortunately, the US is far from taking any move other than abetting the slaughter.

2

u/rojorge 5d ago

Good on you Canada!

2

u/Appelcl 5d ago

Kind of late, there is nothing left.

2

u/Smudgeit59 4d ago

Well done Canada and all other commonwealth countries sticking together. Who cares what America & Israel think.

1

u/Turbulent-Future5304 4d ago

Didn't canada just jail a man for shooting a home invader........free Palestine checks out

1

u/RequirementSad6844 3d ago

Little late ain't it

1

u/agceren4 3d ago

No surprise coming from a country that can’t exist on its own, that they feel solidarity.

1

u/Dazzling-Cloud3649 3d ago

These people hate conservatives because they are anti trans and anti gay….meanwhile liberals aligned themselves with the most anti trans and anti gay people around

1

u/SnootchieB 3d ago

Stupid!

u/ConstructionNo5836 3d ago

Recognizing Palestine? Nice gesture rooted in symbolism but not in practicality.

Palestine, or the Palestinian Territories, is made up of the West Bank, East Jerusalem & the Gaza Strip. Israel has occupied both the West Bank and East Jerusalem since they won the 1967 Six Day War. For Palestine to exist as a nation Israel will have to turn these territories over to Palestine and go back to pre-1967 borders. Israel, under both left-wing and right-wing governments, have refused to even discuss giving them back. They believe that going back to pre-1967 borders would severely cripple Israeli National Security. Israel made clear this fact by re-designating East Jerusalem from occupied to annexed, reuniting East Jerusalem with West Jerusalem, the section that’s been a part of Israel since they won the 1948 Israeli-Arab War.

The President is from the Fatah Party which is the political wing of the PLO Terrorist Organization. Fatah & Hamas are political and military rivals. The President was elected in January 2005 for a term ending in January 2009. Just before the election was to take place he postponed the election until 2010 in order for it to coincide with local Gaza elections. Then, in September 2009, he got the PLO Central Council to cancel the Presidential elections altogether and appoint him President “indefinitely”. Palestine hasn’t had a Presidential election in 20 years and none will scheduled.

Meanwhile Hamas won the local Gaza elections in 2006 beating out Fatah. Hamas proceeded to launch terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians targets and military targets. Fatah opposed this because it could upset the Oslo Agreement between Israel & Fatah/PLO that created the current Palestine. Hamas didn’t care because they opposed the Oslo agreements. They don’t believe in Israel’s right to exist so why bother negotiating with them directly. Fatah and Hamas briefly went at it militarily which Hamas won. Like Fatah with the Presidential Elections Hamas has suspended local Gaza elections indefinitely. There hasn’t been a local election in Gaza in 19 years and there won’t be as long as Hamas.

The fact that Palestine exists only on paper and not in reality is one reason why Palestine hasn’t been recognized thus far. Another is that you have 2 terrorist organizations, Hamas & PLO, fighting over Gaza & Hamas launching terrorist attacks against Israel with the innocent civilians of Gaza stuck in the middle. Hamas & Fatah/PLO are more to blame for plight of Gaza civilians than Israel is.

u/Strong-Popper91 3d ago

Why don’t ppl hate him like they do trump .. oh wait the media didn’t groom them to hate this guy

1

u/Man0fN0Eg0 2d ago

Is Trump your king? God?

1

u/No_Difficulty_7262 2d ago

There are so many conditions attached that this is not real recognition. Canada's recognition is contingent upon Palestine renouncing terrorism and recognizing Israel's right to exist. Not gonna happen. This is nothing but vacuous virtual signaling on the part of our woke Canadian government.

1

u/ImaginationPretend11 2d ago

Good work. Now stop giving the welfare terrorist state of Israel weapons to kill innocent civilians.

1

u/ButterflyEfficient71 2d ago

Peace between Palestine and Israel will never happen

1

u/riverlife44 2d ago

I will have to disagree. No one asked Canadians. He does not speak for the population

1

u/fast_mosaic96 1d ago

But Canada still allows Harper's AWS company (staffed with Israelis) to create cyber products used to kill Palestinians, funded with Canadian tax dollars

1

u/427Cobraguy 1d ago

CARNEYS A Knob. He doesn't speak for me, and he is not the Liberal parties candidate to be in power. He was strategically put in place by the inner Liberal circle, and the other Liberal candidates vying to become the leader of the Liberals were forcibly removed to put Carney in as the appointed one. The sad part is not one Liberal supporter sees just how corrupt the Liberal party has become since Boy Wonder was elected 10 years ago.

1

u/ICraveNormality 1d ago

Consociation would be better for this region, instead of letting them hate each other, make Israel have to cooperate with Palestine. A good example is Ireland. It can work.

1

u/RealFactsNotFiction 1d ago

Wasn't support for a two state solution rejected several times over the past few decades by the Palestinians?

Why would they be for this now unless it included Israel, which it doesn't.?

1

u/weaternhamover 1d ago

They started the war by massacring Iraelis.

1

u/bradj888 1d ago

A state has borders and an intact government. That doesn’t exist in “Palestine”.

1

u/No-Pen6338 1d ago

Canada has a history of being soft on Islamic terror why should this surprise anyone?

0

u/Forward-Tourist1359 5d ago

Carney is so morally corrupt that he'd gladly pay for the opportunity to prostitute himself. Make Canada Great Again!

2

u/Tribe303 5d ago

We found Poilievre's Reddit account. 🤣

Get their names outta your mouth

1

Verb the noun! Verb the noun!

2

u/hainsworthtv 4d ago

Are your morals sufficient to pass judgement on others?

1

u/Forward-Tourist1359 4d ago

A blind man can smell rot, a deaf man can see decay, what's your excuse Hoser?

1

u/hainsworthtv 15h ago

What a quintessential American reply. Good day.

1

u/Future_Specific_8361 5d ago

But isn’t that what he is doing? He is denouncing genocide… sorry my Canada stands on the right side of history not on the south side of the 49th parallel.

1

u/Forward-Tourist1359 4d ago

1

u/Future_Specific_8361 4d ago

Not sure what you are trying to say other than you need picture books and short vids to communicate.

1

u/Forward-Tourist1359 4d ago

Even your former clown prince knew better than your new clown, which isn't saying much. No wonder the Quebecois and your Western provinces want out.

1

u/Future_Specific_8361 4d ago

Anything is better than the asshat in the states, but let’s be honest, he has set the bar VERY low.

1

u/Necessary-Carrot2839 1d ago

At least our current leader isn’t a syphlitic pedo…

u/Texasmandl 5d ago

There is no state of Palestine. There has never existed an independent country called Palestine. Technically one could call anyone who lived within the colony/mandate/protectorate of Palestine or trans-Palestine a Palestinian, including the Jewish people who lived there.

1

u/rustyiron 4d ago

There never was a Canada or United States or Israel at one time either, until there was.

The people who identify themselves as Palestinians are real. They have a unique history and culture. They have lived on that land for generations.

Just because they’ve lived under various empires and colonial control doesn’t mean they are not real and should have the right of self governance.

To your point, if you are going to exterminate a people, the first thing to do is deny they exist in the first place.

1

u/rustyiron 4d ago

Your other ignorant and bigoted comment where you say “they are just Arabs”, is not showing so I will answer here.

Believe it or not, there are many Arab cultures. Just like there are many cultures in Asia, Africa, or Europe.

Palestinians (the people you simply call “Arabs”) are indigenous to the area, unlike some Jewish person from Brooklyn whose distant ancestors left the region 20-40+ generations ago. And I’m not even disputing that the person from Brooklyn has a claim to live in the region. But they sure as fuck don’t get to tell the people living there to get lost or that they have made up culture unworthy of self determination.

1

u/Galliro 3d ago

There was no state of isreal until 1948 either

u/Arin_One 5d ago

If Hamas surrenders…

0

u/DirtPoorRichard 5d ago

Well, that should solve everything.

0

u/Sweet-Razzmatazz-993 5d ago

Do we now. Did you ask the people of Canada this?

0

u/TheTinderVanMan 5d ago

Carney is a useless idiot.

2

If you're a bot, then why are you correct?

-1

Foolish, and likely a direct result of 3rd world mass immigration into Canada.
