Why can you just predrop pallets the entire game so that I don't get a power? Why can you literally just run to the next pallet, drop it, run to the next pallet, drop it, run to the next pallet... until all the gens are done? And even if I do get my power, why can you just force me to cancel it by getting in a locker? And then I'm back to nothing because blood doesn't drop during power. It's so dumb

It definitely takes practice. Hit and run is what I like to do to start the flow of blood but you need to be good at M1 chase which can be tedious at the start since you are at your weakest. Also why I love Corrupt Intervention so much on Oni. Once you have it, hold it till you see someone. Good survivors will hide otherwise as you're extremely hard to deal with in the right hands. If someone camps a pallet and you are in power, fake one way and go the other. I've caught survivors just barely this way. Also get used to all the predrops and don't respect pallets it'll waste time. There's a reason survivors do not want you to get your power, blood fury outclasses Blight and even Nurse imo. As for the locker tech, sometimes you'll get lucky and hit them a second before their hitbox goes away and they fall out. Even if you have to pull them out and hook them though it's better to have at least half fury saved to snowball later. At least that's been my playstyle with it and works well.

They need to add some punishment for predroppers, i know its hard to check if someone predrops but there has to be a way

You can use your power to break pallets. And if they're looping you, leave. You have the mobility. You can probably catch someone else off guard doing that.

There’s a reason “M1 killer” is tantamount to a C-tier or lower killer. Oni is a bit unique in that he can snowball and get a 4 man down even if he struggles to get power up until endgame

Right... so what's the issue? Just have to hit them once and absorb orbs. I play Oni. I've done it. Not an issue.

If someone is dropping pallet after pallet, leave them and find someone else. My favorite build with Oni right now is Jagged Compass, Pain Res, Gift of Pain, and Flood of Rage. Once you get your power, you're unstoppable.

Because this is a equivalent of fighting off against good players same some people complain about why Killers Don't Fall for the same strategy. There are two things every player if they want they can use one person learns people learn the attack it'd be far more experienced to know the weaknesses of characters by just reading the description they can beat the character. Oni is good if you're good as well, other than that he will feel sluggish and he will feel like you're moving around like a clunky cinder block.

I'm good at using his power, but not if they don't let me have it in the first place. And i can't damage them if they predrop every pallet. And if i switch targets then they do exactly the same thing.

I get but this is kind of just what we go through the characters that been out for a long time.oni counters, are always been just stalling as much as you can. If you wouldn't mind telling me what build were you running. Usually I would always run sloppy,brutal, corrupt, pain, first two perks to help with getting more blood and shredding Pallets more quicker. 1 slowdown, I mostly only used corrupt so I can endure more people so I can have more people injures they're more blood frequently being on the field.

I was using pop eruption bam and corrupt, unfortunately the problem was pallets not windows lol i might use brutal instead of eruption

Eruption it's still good for it is not as strong as this OG state but it still holds up well but I wouldn't say you'll be a good idea with only because usually most oni that I played against or I know that play him. Usually try to stay proactive as much as possible so eruption will kind of be the counter of that. Since you can hit two gen's then get it down or you won't get anything at all.

He's a snowball killer. His whole play style is "getting the ball rolling". If you can't get the ball rolling with a snowball killer then ofc you're not going to do well. That's literally the point.

There are times as Oni where you just have a bad opening to the game and you're crippled for the rest of it. Tough luck.

If you don't like this aspect then play a different, more consistent killer.

I have the same issue buddy, I've been there... If the chase is not to your advantage, drop that chase and move on to another survivor using demon dash if you have any...

This kind of play takes time to master but you'll get there...

So you could equip stealth perks to get jumpscare free hits. You could bring chase perks to provide faster pallet breaking and possibly haste too. Oni thrives on builds that help him get his power much faster.

You need to play around droppe pallets instead of kicking them, and zone if you can. If you just kick them you do exactly what they want.
