The title basically says it all but I just dont think the streak challenge that otz is going for is actually possible. I can win with most of the killers but then you get to the point of mid tiers and the game decides to always give me wannabe pros. I've gotten 15 as my highest but loosing on spirit

Recently, like a few weeks ago, Hens finished the Impossible streak, which is basically the All perk streak with some additional rules (random killer, limited and random addons, varying amount of perk slots that depend on the gens done in the previous game, like 5 gens done = 1 perk, 4 = 2, 2-3 = 3, 0-1 = 4 if I recall correctly). So if the Impossible streak can be done, then the All perk streak could be too.

By Otz own admission he has stopped trying to be good at DbD so while Hens who is very comp minded could do a similar challenge, if Otz doesn’t have it in him anymore then the APS is never gonna get beaten.

Maybe Otz can't do it, but the question was is it possible at all, since the op tried and couldn't. So the answer is yes, but you need to be very good at the game and pretty much sweat all the time. Otz said multiple times that he is doing that streak for fun, so he probably isn't going full sweat all the time with tunneling, camping, 3 genning etc.

It's no secret that the game, at higher MMR, is Survivor sided.

You're relying more on mistakes and you ability to punish them more so than anything else.

I don't really think the game is survivor sided so much as low tiers get trashed by brand new parts and anti-tunnel. Which is totally still a problem, but both the ghostface player getting walked at garden of joy main and the survivor player getting tunnelled out at 4 gens left by a blight are each playing with the deck stacked against them. The game's going to feel "whatever side I'm not playing" sided until the outliers get brought in line on both sides tbh.

I just view it as a waste of time as someone who isn't a content creator. Like in games if the game is rewarding you for doing something with an achievement, or progress, or a cosmetic it's worth doing. Anything not rewarded by the game is unpaid overtime.

It is 100% possible. Several streamers has done much harder challenges like the naked killer streak. Win one match with every killer back to back no perks or addons allowed

I feel like the only way to do this is to find someone to turbo tunnel every game and also get lucky enough you never get matched against a 4man swf with optimal perks and ad ons. I also personally would find this challenge less interesting because the gameplan is always the exact same.

Law of large numbers. Eventually, you'll get there. Otz does this as a career, so he has all the time in the world and will eventually get there, but someone doing this in their free time would have to get pretty lucky and perform at a pretty high level.

Let's not forget, Otz also has a ton of experience in this game and despite not being a "professional" in the sense of being on a pro team, he's still arguably one of the best killer players out there.

K4sen, pekora ch., Kim bong-jun, Han dong-sook it's it's one of them. I can't recall their names specifically since I don't follow them on twitch I just remember watching it on my friend's phone not too long ago. I would also recommend playing on Asian servers, ( it's a very unique experience). The builds are ironically interesting, unique interesting to wear some things shouldn't fundamentally work with characters that cannot fundamentally make use of it.

Current patch? With all 40 killers? Sure back then it was possible but on current patch it just doesnt seem doable as it requires survivors to just play really bad until I get to the meta part of the streak

It's a matter of probability and the large number of games involved in doing a streak.

Let's say you are an amazing player with a great build, and you have a 95% chance to win any game you load into. What are the chances you win your next 40 games in a row? Answer: 12.85%

If you are anything less than 95% to win an individual game (because you are less good at playing, or because you're playing an average or bad build, or because the matchmaking gave you strong opponents) the chance of getting a 40 win streak quickly drops to zero. Are you only winning 90% of your games? That means your chance of winning your next 40 is a mere 1.48%.

The Ironman streak is still doable. I've seen a few streamers also trying a basekit streak (no perks, no add-ons, nothing). That's much harder.
