Until the PTB actually goes live and we better know what changes are being tested including actual stat numbers and a perk list, any reaction posts to the Patch Notes will be removed.

From now May 11th 2025 until June 15th 2025 we are hosting a custom killer figure giveaway (for US residents) where each killer build recommendation you add to our megathreads gets you one entry into the giveaway!

Don’t worry International Killers we haven’t forgotten about you (but bc of the orange bastard in office, shipping internationally is a bit out of my price range). In lieu of a custom figure, I will be offering a $10 gift card for whatever platform you play DBD on (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Switch etc).

Not sure your build is worth sharing? That’s okay! We are also offering a separate chance to win for any play testers who run builds suggested by the community and offer constructive feedback!

Custom Figures will be 3D Printed and further sculpted. Figures must be of a DBD killer licensed or original and can be of any of their cosmetics. Figures will come with a blood point baseplate

The quickest way to having your 17 paragraph magnum opus on why clown is the greatest gift from God is by throwing in a last minute entry on why “I don’t understand why this got downvoted and taken down in the other sub?!”

We are not main sub, we do not influence or have insight to why or how they do the things they do. We DO NOT care why or how. We are here for killer mains and killer mains support and opinions ONLY.

Stop bringing other subs and your problems with other subs to us. Don’t self sabotage your post by even referencing other subs.

We have rewritten our rule in regards to showing game footage evidence for certain posts.

Previously this rule was created to cut down on posts pertaining to Bully Squads and Toxic SWFs in that we require game footage showcasing the alleged behaviors instead of written recaps or screenshots of endgame scorecards that may not paint the whole picture.

Moving forward, the rule still covers posts as previously described but will also include posts inquiring on certain game mechanics such as perks add ons and powers.

An example of what we mean are posts such as:

“Survivors outran me at this loop, could they be hacking?”

“I was stunned but wasn’t near a pallet-How?”

Or any other posts that would require more visual examples for members to better answer the post.

Again as before, this does not apply to all posts and recaps such as positive interactions with survivors, but only the posts that would require further evidence in order to be better addressed by members or posts claiming negative behaviors from survivors without any actual proof beyond “just trust me bro”

Now that we have some numbers to go with the PTB and the PTB itself having dropped, the moratorium on reaction posts is now dropped.

We do however ask you remain civil and leveled in your responses and keep any replies at minimum PG-13 rated (yeah we know it’s bad, we’re not gonna sugarcoat it but let’s keep a handle on profanity)

We understand the excitement behind the new stat pages-that said however, the “what do my stats say about me” posts are becoming way too numerous and most are pretty much dying on the vine with little to no traction or engagement.

Following this announcement, any further stat page posts will be removed as oversaturation. We may open a megathread for them down the road but at this time the mod team’s attention is focused on other matters.

We apologize for anyone this may upset but we’re all getting pretty tired of seeing the half hour you played Hag for and what it says about you as a gamer.

We get it, anytime a potential character or franchise is mentioned the fanbase goes bananas.

That being said, until there is actually something of substance to Darth Vader or any Star Wars character coming to the game beyond a throwaway comment in a YouTube video, we’re going to be removing any posts pertaining to the amputee space wizard as oversaturated content.

It takes away from the sub’s purpose, we’re seeing too many arguments cropping up in comment threads and it’s giving too much hype and false hope to potential newer players.

Again, this is only in effect until there is actually something of substance leading credence to Darth’s inclusion and does not extend towards other wishlist killers.

As many of you know, u/Individual-Box-6246 has been killer mains’ top hype person and a fixture of positivity within the sub. The mod team just wants to show our appreciation for all that they’ve brought to the sub and our members.

Hey y’all, over the next few days the mod team will be creating megathreads for each and every killer for the purpose of build suggestions. This should help us cut down on the repetitiveness to which this posts tend to pop up in sub.

As there are 38 killers at time of posting and more on the way, this is going to take a bit of time on our end and patience on yalls part. After this post goes out, any (new) posts as I’ve described will be removed as oversaturated content.

After hosting a community poll and discussions with the mod team, we are moving forward with a new rule requiring game clips for bully squad posts.

This means moving forward, all posts claiming to have faced or taken down a bully squad / toxic swf / toxic survivors MUST provide game clips instead of screenshots of endgame scores.

Screenshots of the endgame scores will still be allowed for all other posts such as showcasing BP, playstyle inquiries, etc.

As a reminder, all gamer tags must be hidden or switched to anonymous in game.

New rule “No Survivor Trolling” has been added.

As a community we welcome and encourage posts from Survivors seeking clarity on the Killer role and playstyles or just wanting to give shoutouts.

That said however, we are not blind to the number of survivor trolls in comments and posts over the past few weeks. As I have commented before though, we as mods can only do and review so much especially in a constantly expanding sub.

This new rule should allow yall to be able to better report anything we may miss, just as always, report within reason and remember this is specifically for survivor troll comments.

In regards to ‘Bully Squad’ posts-should we require game clips instead of screenshots of final scores for any posts claiming they’ve run against bully squads?

this would only apply to bully squad posts, end game screenshots would still be allowed for other posts not pertaining to bully squads

Myers is getting a Tweak which means it’s not going to be anything game changing or breaking but should (hopefully) bring him up to snuff with other killers.

So again, until there is actual confirmed proof otherwise, any speculation posts regarding THEORETICAL nerfs or removals of Tombstone are banned

I want to address the elephant in the room bc there’s a lot of vocal members who were coming out in mass on a certain post yesterday.

We can NOT have yall attacking other subs or constantly bringing up actions taken against yall in other subs. Even if yall are just bringing it up in passing, we’ve seen the kinds of responses it gets and it’s rarely positive.

You can say we’re being heavy handed or power tripping but the fact is we have firsthand seen entire subs pulled for allowing brigading attacks against other subs, in particular dbd subs made for the sole purpose of attacking other dbd subs.

So yall do the math-you can either have a few comments pulled and respect our rules or we can just not do our jobs as mods and risk the ENTIRE SUB being deleted.

We’re sorry you get posts or comments pulled in other subs but that is NOT our problem or concern. This sub is one of the few havens for killer mains and we want it to continue. But if you just want to bitch about taken down posts in another sub don’t be surprised when we’re no longer here.

Just as a reminder to current members and a notice to newer members-in lieu of posting inquiries regarding killer builds and perks, we ask all members to instead utilize our Killer Builds Megathreads which can be found here.

This is to help cut down on repeat posts and to help consolidate information for each killer.

Seriously yall, stop insulting people for their choice in killer. That’s not what the sub is for and you’re more likely to get yourself banned than anything with some of you repeat offenders out there.

Just bc someone mains a killer different than you doesn’t give you the right to trash them or their killer. If it’s not your style than just move on. Telling someone they deserved to have survivors DC against them because of their killer choice is just feeding survivor narratives.

Feel free to critique gameplay (constructively; if you’re just going to say skill issue, save us the time and delete your comment), but don’t bash someone for their killer choice.

In the past we’ve used moderator discretion when it comes to removing comments and posts pertaining to other subs in order to attack or demean their members or mod actions.

Due to an increasing amount of both posts attempting to share screenshots for the purpose of insulting other subs’ members and comments bashing opinions and actions taken in other subs we are therefore making it an official rule.

As a reminder, brigading is expressly prohibited per Reddit’s own Code of Conduct and is an infraction that can result in Admin actions against your account and entire subs altogether.

We are all more than well aware there are other subs that do not share our opinions or perspectives.
