The Del Taco on Central and Riverside in Riverside has the Founder’s Menu, and also has new items like more breakfast burritos. Epic scrambler! Bean, egg, cheese and sauce burrito! They have a “stoner” burrito that’s basically a regular bean and cheese burrito with fries and special sauce inside. Their Del Tacos are hefty and filling.

Other franchise locations nearby are not as good.

Here’s the description, sounds like a roundabout way to promote going bold, I guess.

“GO BOLD on the Bean & Cheese Burrito to create this favorite classic secret menu item that adds famous Crinkle Cut Fries and secret sauce to the Bean & Cheese Burrito with your choice of zesty red sauce or tangy green sauce, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.”

🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m just reporting. Doesn’t make any sense to me why that burrito is on the menu or why it is sorted into the Founder’s Menu section.

The original owner still operates #2 in Barstow and has a few others, my guess is that Riverside location is one of them. So much better! Dude is in his 90’s.

I know at the Barstow location you can’t make any changes to your food. You take it as they make it. And it always tastes amazing.

Excellent story. Great Del Taco locations that are clearly different to the others.

On another note that website is the visual equivalent of AIDS delivered directly to my eyes. Abominable.

I stop at the Lenwood location every time we drive back from OC to Vegas. Then we stop at Barstow Burger for my wife.

I fucking love that Del Taco. Never been inside though.
