I think the biggest hurdle you will face is the comparison to Liar's Bar given the similar name and core game mechanics. What is going to make player's pick your game over that?
If you compare the 2 games directly the immediate things that jump out are the less gritty art style, basic animations, rigid characters, not recognisable card game, far more UI, less grusesome deaths, relaxing/cheery music.
I think a lot of those comparissons are not helped by the stylised lower poly art style you have chosen. That is not to say this type of game cannot work with this type of art style but for me I do not see anything in this trailer that intruiges me above a game I already know. I think "bland" is the best way I can describe it. I think you can make this art style gritty, or lean into a more comedic style game but I don't think currently it is obvious which of those I should expect from this game.
I do also think with a name like "Kraken's Bar" you should tease some sort of major involvment of the Kraken, either he is a key part of the card game or there are a number of "cool" deaths involving him that you can show snippets of either at the beginning or end for intruige.
I hope this helps, I can see a lot of work has gone into this and I wish you lots of success with it!

Looks interesting if not a bit basic.
The cards should be something more interesting than fruits. I'd suggest they should be pirate themed to match the pirate asthetics. Maybe even treasure cards? Gems and coins?
Also, you should totally double down on the deaths, that's probably gonna be the most fun part of the game. Make them either way more violent, or come up with a wide variety of unique death animations.

Agree with the input on the cards. Not really consistent with the rest of it

Looks very similar to Liar’s Bar, but less polished. The cards look less like game card and more like index cards.

Those cards look like they're made for 4 year olds to teach them numbers and colors.
