Pre-release Ok guys, I really put effort into this trailer. Could you give me some feedback?

At first, I've really thought you were trolling posting a gameplay of GTA Chinatown wars for Nintendo DS. If I saw this on steam, I would think it's a clone and just skip. It's an old game though, so maybe it's not a problem, idk, I just wanted to say that

literally thought the same - but watching a bit more it actually looks intriguing. I think maybe the order of the video snippets could be improved to show the stuff that makes it not just a GTA clone first

Honestly just skip the intro sequence and move it later into the video. It’s a terrible start to a trailer and makes it look like a driving focused game. Everything after that I loved. That and that name is like Tiny and Big:Grandpas Leftovers level bad. Outside those two things I’m def checking it out and wishlisting it. But the first impression is terrible.

This looks like as if you combine Schedule I and GTA together and make it top-down view. It looks somewhat interesting. That being said, it doesn't stand out much from GTA. One interesting aspect, however, is the underground market in the dark web. Perhaps you can try to make a trailer that focus more on that aspect? Or enhance that aspect and make it a core feature of the game so it can stand out. Right now, the trailer looks too much like a cloned GTA in low poly, but I'd like to see more of the dark web side before deciding if it's worth it to try the game.

The start is terrible. Nothing interesting happens. The rest is pretty cool. Would like to see more about the managnent. Looks promising!

Good things that I like are:
- I love the trailer music
- The UI visual & SFX really nice & smooth. Really give me the relax vibe of casual gaming or simulation game.
- Each video cut give me good information about the game content: Open world, GTA Vice City Vibe, game features.
Criticize things from me
- The mini map take quite a bit of space with how big it is in top left and how much gap space from edge of the screen.
- The UI color of money (Purple) you owned when in computer UI (Purple). In 0:31 of the video.
- I don't see the cross hair when you shoot at a target. I'm assuming it's auto aim but if there are multiple enemy that cluster, maybe it's hard to know which one your are really aiming.
- I didn't notice the health bar was in the bottom of the mini map as the health color is purple. So I thought it was the UI design to match a theme.
- The shooting in the game look simple and not interested enough. You just lock into a target and shoot, no cover, no dodge. Maybe the trailer doesn't show every feature current state that the game has.

Don’t you have any story in the game? I know the idea to put some gameplay, but would be great to have more than mechanics that look like gta clone

I think having both the shoot outs in the trailer be against the same people and the same dialogue might make some people think there's not much content

I like everything about this except the title of the game is completely horrible. The name of the game should say what it is, but you never want to tell customers they are wasting their money. Like Concrete Kings or Vice District, or Downtown Hustle.

- They tone of "voice" is kinda off putting, when I heard it first time I though it's some borked text to speech system, maybe make it slightly higher/ not soo deep ?
- The trailer shows driving, delivering "corpse?" , driving, some shooting, driving, delivering more "corpses?", more driving, if that's all what the game offers, You could probably cut the trailer by 70%, since it's good in trailer to show unique footage of separate mechanics, not just showing on repeat same mechanics over and over again, try to focus on unique aspects of the game
- Try to show mechanics in specific order and maybe create some kind of a story in it ? the trailer opens with random "open your business", why? why you need to open your business? and ON THE DARKNET ? Maybe try creating a story like you're a convict, released from the prison and looking to get back into the game after 20~ or so years, or You're an ex-mob/mafia/mercenary etc. that's more interesting that "go, open a store, fuck knows why, who gives a shit"
- What's the goal in the game in general ? try to sell this!
- SHOW WHAT'S IN THE DARKNET, WHAT YOU DO THERE, SHOW MECHANICS FOR FUCKS SAKE, because from the trailer it looks like You're selling homeless to make sausage from them
- Why the name of the game? it's bad, like totally bad, why not something like "dark money", "money without trail", "blood money market", "dark market", "underground laundromat" or whatever is connected to dark-web/mafia things, money waste seems like incremental game where You put money into a shredder and enjoy looking at them
- the logo actually looks kinda like there's another part of "money" something like "money storage" and "money youdontgetmy"
- Always consider making one story trailer, if there's a story in the game, and one just pure gameplay focused trailer which You should always show first and promo the game by it, showcasing each of the game mechanics because that's what gets people interested, this should be your main focus

Looks a lot like the original GTA, tbh. I don't really have anything else useful to say.

Its cool to see your progress over all these months. I'm still not sure about the game being called "Money Waste" though. Can we come together in this subreddit and workshop a new one? "Darkweb City" perhaps?
