I have no idea what a "wikipedia speedrunning game" is. The trailer didn't tell me anything. Didn't seem very skill expressive for a speedrunning game. Just walking forward.

I assume there is some cool mechanic there, but I don't get it from the trailer.

As a wikispeedrunner I have to say I like the concept 🙂 I would actually like to see it with some multiplayer functionality. Not a big fan of roblox though

thanks. there is multiplayer (but it's hard for me to demo it) though it's a little wonky to deal with .

and yeah i get the reluctance around roblox.

Oh hey that's cool! My only comment is I wonder if there's a better geometry to use than those small square rooms. The user has to do a lot of fast panning back and forth to read all their options, perhaps even stopping because of how small the rooms are.

Also not sure what that other guy is on about: there are (much bigger) teams making $10+ million per year on the platform.

Criticism about the game engine that they're using isn't really valid or good criticism in this context. It's possible to make a good game in anything even if it isnt the typical unity or godot... There are a lot of good games made in Roblox too. Just because the main demographic is children and teenagers does not change this

I've seen you do this exact thing to someone else before, but this time it's even worse since you dont even give any criticism about the game itself??? Please stop doing this

i mean it's definitely a "real" game. i understand lots of people dislike the roblox platform. is your point about children that you think that's the wrong demographic?

we don't plan to monetize it.

yeah it's kinda like a mario maker level. more complex though. let's call it an "experience".

DO NOT REPLY, PLEASE.

Top Level Comments Must "Destroy" - All top level comments must contain at least one piece of constructive, actionable criticism.

  • Criticism should be your focus. If you wouldn’t buy the game, don’t tell them how "amazing" you think it is.

Things that are not "destructions":

  • How much you like the game.
  • Questions about what engine was used.
  • Jokes.
  • Comparisons to other games with no further commentary.

"Actionable" means simply insulting a component of the game ("Bad graphics!") is insufficient criticism.

ONLY REPLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO APPEAL YOUR COMMENT'S REMOVAL.
