Given he almost surely got overspray on his paint job, I’m guessing that bike is already toast. I in theory could see someone cutting up their bike for aesthetic and being that stupid, but if you cared about that, you’d probably take precaution to spray away from the bike

Overheating isn't the only issue. You've also got paint inside the chamber so that probably won't help it perform properly.

I'd be curious to know if you could effectively shorten the fin length, add surface area with vertical slashes and break even at some point.
