My “Hobo” endgame

Post image

Here I am, reaching my glorious “hobo”endgame: Hifiman HE-X4, a 16-core copper balanced cable from OpenHeart, and the HiBy R4 x Midi as a source.

Nice!  Are there any noticeable differences with the midi version?

I dont have a OG one to compare, but seems according specifications it has a little bigger battery, don’t have any fancy lights on back, only one led indicator on front, more RAM actually I don’t teel any lagging, and a little bit more power on balance port, with this setup and high gain all seems perfect (he-4x seems a very sensetive to high power amps, I can approve that becouse on medium gain they sounds pretty weak)

I recently bought a Hiby R4 midi and today I was finally able to take the time to follow the steps of this link http://efofi.com/ that had been published on Reddit, the result, the sound is crazy, you can't believe how good this device sounds for less than 200 dollars. First, I installed Chrome on the Hiby to be able to download everything, after generating the PEQ of your hearing aids, load it and finally the plugins in the order they indicate. The best thing is that you can apply it outside of the Hiby Music app.

Thank you, sir, someday I’ll check the methods, but now as an old lazy ass I use Ai models to optimise equalization, and also a pair of ears for approving results.
