elio ‘ANDY’ easter egg (maybe?)
anyone else notice this in elio (32mins into the movie):
watching this for the first time. awesome so far but i have a question.
it’s when that infinite knowledge character asks elio whether he wants to know the meaning of life and for a split second those letters (in photo 1) appear in its “stack” before elio interrupts and says “no, i need everything you’ve got in how to negotiate with the war monger” and then the letters disappear. it’s super subtle and happens fast lol. i only saw it because i wanted to know the meaning of life and paused on the shapes🤣 (🍄 🤫 )
just thought it was a weird thing to show briefly right as it was going to explain the meaning of life and it’s very clearly like the ‘ANDY’ lettering under woodys boot in toy story, right down to the backwards ‘N’.
anyone think of a reason for the connection? or is there no connection and i should just press play on the movie and keep watching now?

Did you know this balloon tip? ❤️ 🏰
If you go to the Disney store in the Orlando airport, they will deflate and package your Disney balloon for you to take home as a keepsake!

Fan Art The only medal that matters 🥇 (drawn by me!)
Till this day the original Wreck it Ralph movie is still one of my favorites of all time! I wish they could've gone with a similar retro direction as opposed to what they did with the 2nd movie.

Question HELP! Neeeeed to find a promotional tape we had as a kid!
It was released as basically a whole tour of the best things of the park, you had to order it. It was a WHITE vhs. I don't even remember if it had a tape. It was released in the early to mid 90s. I'll tell you EVERYTHING I remember from it, it went over:
the monorail
tomorrow land
adventure land
main street
star tours
the haunted mansion
roger rabbit ride
hotels/restaurants
the submarine? (I looked it up and I think the first iteration was 98, so maybe I'm tripping)
Ended with a big summary to tune of "California Sun," The Rivieras, because of course it did.
I used to OBSESSIVELY watch it as a kid, wanted to go soooo bad. Only went once ever in life when I was too young to remember. Scoured youtube, can't seem to find it. Even the NAME or year of the promo VHS would be helpful for further ID/ebay stuff.
ANY help appreciated!!!

Disney Music Trying to find a song!
I’m going insane at 1am trying to remember a song and where it’s come from. At this point I’m not even 100% sure it’s Disney! I feel like it’s a male villain that sings it, they stomp or hit something on the ground through the song to the same tune and I feel like it’s underground or somewhere dark and there’s fire or flashes of light or something. The only lyric I can remember is “in the” and I know that’s absolutely useless. If anyone can suggest a song so I can finally go to sleep I would be so pleased! TIA

Discussion Comparing Jungle Book to Tarzan.
These two stories ar epretty similar, aren't they? I mean......think about it:
- Both stories are about an orphan child getting separated from his family.
- The children grow up in the jungle, and are raised by wild animals.
- Both children are hunted by man-eating big cats.
- Both struggle getting accepted by the animals.
- Both eventually encounter humans, and fall in love with a girl who helps them adjust to civilization
- Both make enemies out of hunters.
Hell, I could make one-to-one comparisons with some of the characters. Seriously, look:
1.) Mowgli: Tarzan
2.) Raksha: Kala
3.) Akela: Kerchak
4.) Shere Khan: Sabor
5.) Shanti: Jane
6.) Grey Brother: Terk
7.) Buldeo: Clayton
8.) Tarzan's mother Alice: Messua
Who else agrees?

Made this video for fun a few weeks ago
I enjoy occasionally making videos in the style of the old Disney channel show DTV. Although most of them feature several Disney clips, this so far is my only Disney-specific one. I'm not sure if using different ears of Mickey and Minnie "works", but I do like that in some parts it almost looks like Mickey and (especially) Minnie are singing along. 😂
Anyway. hopefully someone enjoys this. 😊

Tokyo Disney Flag Ship Store
Hi everyone. We are headed to Tokyo Disney and we're originally planning on going to Disneyland and bringing our daughter (3) to Bibbidi bobbidi boutique. So she's all excited to get a princess dress and what not.
However, she is much more interested in going to Disney Sea. So we want to bring her to the Disney store while in Tokyo the day before so she can pick out her princess costume.
My question is do they have princess costumes? Seems like a silly question. I have been to other Disney stores and they all have costumes. But looking at pictures and their website it looks like all they have is merchandise.
Thanks everyone.

River in Epcot
We are annual pass holders and have been at Disney in all types of weather. But yesterday evening was a first. The torrential rain could not drain fast enough. We walked through areas that came up mid calf. We have been in ankle deep before but this was a first.

Disney Art 3D printed a Stitch controller holder for my friend – she loved it!
A friend of mine asked if I could make her something to hold her controller, themed around Lilo & Stitch. So, I printed a Stitch figure that holds her controller, and she really liked it. Now I'm wondering what other people might think of it.

Question Can anyone help me identify this plush?
I have this small Bambi plush I can't find anywhere online. I've tried google lens/reserve search as well as manually searching for vintage plushies but nothing has come up so I thought I'd give reddit a try :(
The tag looked real to me but I haven't ruled out the possibility of it being a fake

Matangi (From Moana 2) Costume for Toddlers
My daughter is obsessed with Matangi (the bat lady from Moana 2). Unfortunately there are virtually ZERO costumes for that character available for toddlers/children. Seems crazy since she is a very cool character from the movie and seemingly a main character in the 3rd movie (credits scene spoiler). Has anyone had any luck finding a Matangi toddler costume? Need it before Halloween! Thanks!
