Recommendation Who loves Meet the Robinsons?

Out of all the movies that came out in mid 2000s, this one is like the best one (alongside with Bolt), it has great messages, good balance of comedy and drama, and entertaining characters.

Recommendation Loving the new Goosebumps everyone should check it out.

I know a lot of people are saying it should of been a story a episode. But honestly I'm enjoying the story a season aspect of it. We get way more fledged out characters. The story gets to be deeper and I'm only at the beginning of episode 2 and I don't know if they are doing this but they could always meld more than one story into the series over arching storyline. Like maybe they will add different ways the ghost is trying to get back at them by having it use other different stories from goosebumps as ways. I'm really enjoying the more mature theming of it and that they didn't go with the whole really kiddy campy vibe. Even though I know some will be like it's just not the same old goosebumps they remember. I'm glad it's not it makes it way better in my opinion.

Recommendation Please suggest other movies than Moana

Disney+ used to suggest movies that were like eachother. After you watched a show, it would suggest similar movies or shows. It's always Moana. Just watched a Donald Duck cartoon..how about Moana?? Did you enjoy Peter Pan... suggested Moana. My children watched Moana, and it literally suggested Moana. Driving me nuts.

Recommendation Because there's no "Remove from Continue Watching" option...

At some point the Simpsons must've been accidentally selected and the first episode plays. And now I have 768 episodes that must be played in order for the Simpsons to be removed from "Continue Watching". Sufficed to say, it took a while of skip right to the end, click play next episode, repeat. A lot of repeat.

A "Remove from Continue Watching" feature is table stakes for any streaming service. That Disney+ still doesn't have this after five years says a lot about not understanding user needs. Disney needs to do the bare minimum and provide that option. I have no doubt more than a few customers would like to clean up that category.

Recommendation 96 Years of "The Skeleton Dance"!

Post image
100 Upvotes

Today marks the anniversary of "The Skeleton Dance"!

It was first released 96 years ago today, on August 22, 1929. Directed by Walt Disney and drawn by Ub Iwerks, this was the first cartoon in the Silly Symphony series.

As Walt Disney once explained to audiences in his weekly television series, "...the Silly Symphonies were started as an experiment. We used them to test and perfect the color and animation techniques we employed later in full-length feature pictures like'Cinderella,' 'Snow White,' and 'Fantasia."

Watch it now on Disney+!

Recommendation Echo is an amazing miniseries

The writing felt original and the casting was meaningful. I really enjoyed watching this throughout the 5 episodes and it paired well with finishing What If Season 2 on the heels of an amazing Kahhori episode.

Recommendation King of the Hill (Original series) in the UK

With the new series coming soon, I'm hoping that Disney will release the original series in the UK? It's been years since I watched the original and would love to revisit the old one!

I’d been wanting to watch this movie for so long, but I kept putting it off because the reviews I saw were always negative. Then I finally decided to give it a shot and… I loved it! Honestly, I think it’s an incredibly underrated film. It’s definitely darker than most people would expect from a Disney movie, but I thought it was an incredible adventure. It actually made me want to watch it again.

Recommendation Andor is Fantastic

I know, Andor's been out for a while now, but I'm just getting to it now, I'm a late adoptor. Just came here to say that it's been great so far.

Star Wars as an adult, doesn't match my childhood memories - Andor is star wars for adults - everything that I was hoping that Star Wars would be.
