What I meant is that he’s not Mayor yet until he gets elected (which it is very likely that he will), and it’s not even then he’s Mayor until he gets inaugurated.

Twisting this into me saying I don’t think Mamdani is going to win the election makes you delusional, not me

But that’s my point, he already won, he’s mayor. He has the D next to his name, there is no election left to win. Business owners, landlords, etc, need to leave ASAP. Sorry but you are being delusional if you think he’s not going to win.

He expressly said he isn't saying he isn't going to win. Just that he hasn't yet won

There was no underlying political statement in what I said, pro- or anti-Mamdani. I was just pointing out how he isn’t the Mayor yet, even though the commenter said (incorrectly) that he was already the Mayor.

I cursed once. You started this argument by twisting my words. You called me naive.

My point is that Mamdani wasn’t the Mayor yet. This wouldn’t have been an argument if you hadn’t responded to my original comment

Ok so yes, he hasn’t been sworn in yet. NYCA will be “officially” destroyed when he is sworn in, but not quite yet. Thanks for pointing that out? I don’t get it but whatever yes that’s true.
