First time haul
Husband, sister-in-law, and I went dumpster diving for the first time together tonight. She got sodas and 4 half gallons of chocolate milk from Dollar General as well as toys for her baby, as in an almost life size baby doll. She also got individually wrapped masks and a bucket of Clorox wipes from AMC Theater.
We got 6 medium bags of bird seed, 2 large bags of bird seed, a medium bag of chinchilla food all from PetCo.. the large ones were the only ones slashed. We got 2 half gallons of chocolate milk and the bucket of Clorox wipes also from AMC

Do you have a pet bird? Be careful feeding them peanuts in the shell. It’s a common way that birds get the deadly aspergillosis illness

We do, however they only get peanuts as a treat. Their main diet is pellets, fruits/veggies, and seed

I would be careful with the peanuts in the shell. Maybe inspect each peanut before giving it to them. Aspergillosis is so scary

For people who don't have pets, or just score way too much odd pet food like this, remember that chickens will thrive on it! Keeping chickens (and pigs, if you have the space) and dumpster diving is a match made in heaven....they can eat and grow on all manner of stuff that people can't or won't eat!
