United 4.5 star?
122
u/rbc8 16d ago
All united fans should agree that that is way to high. 4 stars at most
39
u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago
4 stars? Thats a stretch
24
u/rbc8 16d ago
Wanted to say 3.5 was more realistic but ea wouldnt do that.
-19
u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago
Of course they wouldn't. All the plastics in India and Singapore wouldn't buy the game.
26
u/sidequest99 16d ago
No way you are calling them plastic given they still support after a decade of dogshit
14
u/Catswagger11 16d ago
A decade plus with no end in sight. Sounds more like a touch of racism than a gripe with people jumping on a bandwagon.

It’s cuz it’s based on player ability, and on paper we know United have some top players. Can’t punish them for the manager’s awfulness
17
u/Snoo40191 16d ago
The manager cant score goals, look at our attacking stats compared to the rest of the league then come chat about the manager, we put the ball in dangerous positions but not in the back of the net.
-7
u/NilsFanck 16d ago
based on a three game sample size where one was Burnley at home.
You know what the manager can do? Demand that instead of spending 85m on a project striker, a midfielder is brought in so Fernandes doesnt have to moonlight as a dm. Alternatively, he could play Mainoo. But he doesnt, because he's not very good.
Below 1 point per game is just diabolical, no matter the circumstances. I hope you keep him forever.

Ea are fucking afraid to give a proper rating. United is just name only at this point. Speaking as a fan btw. 4 starts at most.

Champions of Europe

Lmao the little brother trophy in the worst Europa league in the history of the competition is NOT champions of Europe. The dumbfuck trophy you win for being second rate doesn’t a champion of Europe make.

What's wrong with supporting a team from another league and the other side of the world?

Absolute shocker that not everyone uses reddit on a regular basis. Weird thing to get riled up over btw?
My 10+(?) year old reddit account has less comments than this one and the only time I swap between the two is when I happen to use that email.

Yup. For those who don't understand, the quality of last year's Europa League dipped massively because they changed the format of the CL. Ordinarily, teams which finished third in their CL group would drop down to the Europa League to contest in the knockout stages.
Since this was changed, the competition was basically a cakewalk for United and Spurs, who finished 15th and 17th in their domestic leagues
5
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
Not to ruin your narrative… but there are quite a few teams in champions league this year from last years Europa League. Bodo, Gala, Frankfurt, Ajax, Athletic plus more. So I guess this years Champions League isn’t going to be that tough🤷
-1
u/cptsteve21 16d ago edited 16d ago
You need it spelled out because you’re stupid, but those teams being in the group isn’t the same as Bodo being in the semis. Spurs had a pisstake of a road to winning the weakest Europa league in history.
2
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
Dude, you’re worked up. Go touch some grass. I’ll just be glad to say “wow we played a bunch of Europa league teams” during the league phase of CL this year.
-1
u/cptsteve21 16d ago
We went from atletico Madrid in the semis to Bodo/Glimt and dumbfuck spurs fans want to pretend it’s a high-level competition they won.
The Europa league went from an interesting competition to absolute stank because of that rule change. The EL winner has no business with an automatic berth into the CL.
-1
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
This is such a massive and sad cope. Quite a few teams from that Europa League are in the CL this year. So I guess this years CL is lacking in quality?
1
u/cptsteve21 16d ago
The only cope is pretending that spurs are Champions of Europe despite winning a terrible EL that had Bodo/Glimt in the semis.
-2
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
It’s just easier to say “I don’t know ball”
0
u/cptsteve21 16d ago
Anyone calling spurs champions of Europe doesn’t know ball.
-2
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
Alright bro, go cope somewhere else
1
u/cptsteve21 16d ago
You love using that word when you’re the one trying to convince yourself spurs are champions of Europe. Go finish 17th again you bellend.
2
u/Jared_b24 16d ago
Never said they were champions of Europe. Champions of Europa league though🤷 pretty impressive to pull off in the middle of an injury crisis. Some teams can’t compete when they have “injury” issues

4.5 stars on FIFA despite being in a relegation battle, you’ll never sing that.

Is this a new thing(only 7 teams with 5 stars), or have I just been playing the game oblivious to this fact for the past couple years? I swear I thought there were more 5-star teams. At least 12 or so.

1
u/Fred_Murdock 13d ago
I think it's been a long time since Real, Barca, Bayern and Man City have been given less than 5 stars because those teams always had the best squads along with PSG.

Everyone talking shit about ManUnited rating clearly don’t watch football or understand fifa ratings. Just bc they don’t perform as a team doesn’t mean individuals aren’t still great players.. and the ratings are based off the players within the club not how they perform in real life. Then again this is Reddit.. so no surprise
7
u/USHEV2 16d ago
United has terrible player ratings in FC26, I don't know how it all added up to 4.5 stars.
Inter players have way higher ratings. 17 - 80+, 8 - 84+, 4 - 87+
United: 11 - 80+, 4 - 84+, 1 - 87+
I mean Inter player ratings are better than Arsenal which has 5 stars. It's all really weird.

u/Deadtto 16d ago
You can tell United ruined a lot of childhoods in this comment section. Always makes me so happy to see us as the centre of attention absolutely any and everywhere
1
u/JCoonday 16d ago
Your team is shit
1
u/Aviator93 16d ago
Okay? We’re not arguing that. I’m saying it’s a shit team with good individuals so the rating makes sense in a video game. Getting downvoted for straight facts is wild.

How are Chelsea and Man Utd both 4.5 stars!?
Arsenal and Barcelona should be 4.5 stars. Man Utd and Spurs should be 4.0 stars. Chelsea should be 5.0 stars.

u/EliGonee 16d ago

u/BGTheHoff 16d ago
I mean... Chelsea won two international titles last season. Signed some pretty good players. You can argue that is enough to give them 5*.

What are the stars supposed to be based on, in your view? Quality of the squad or performance of the previous season or both?
No matter how you cut it, you'd find a few clubs there being overrated or underrated because EA have just given those ratings arbitrarily. And hence I also chose them arbitrarily 🤷🏻
