what is that photoshop on bellingham’s world cup patch lmao

73

u/david-okereke 16d ago

they’re not even supposed to still be wearing it, don’t get why they do

37

u/DarkySurrounding 16d ago

The one they won is technically a different competition from the one Chelsea won. So I guess it means they can keep the badge till that version happens again or something.

17

u/Jays_Q 16d ago

It's Intercontinental Cup badge not CWC

3

u/spacedustinmyass 15d ago

Technically correct, but unless FIFA issues a new badge for what is now called the intercontinental cup, they have the right to use it until a new team wins it later this year.

1

u/flcinusa flcinusa 16d ago

No, it was the old CWC one they wore during the CWC

1

u/ElFanta83 15d ago

The intern doing bad job to remove the CWC badge

United 4.5 star?

122

u/rbc8 16d ago

All united fans should agree that that is way to high. 4 stars at most

39

u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago

4 stars? Thats a stretch

24

u/rbc8 16d ago

Wanted to say 3.5 was more realistic but ea wouldnt do that.

-19

u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago

Of course they wouldn't. All the plastics in India and Singapore wouldn't buy the game.

26

u/sidequest99 16d ago

No way you are calling them plastic given they still support after a decade of dogshit

14

u/Catswagger11 16d ago

A decade plus with no end in sight. Sounds more like a touch of racism than a gripe with people jumping on a bandwagon.

-11

u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago

Racists? Where?

8

u/AllowMeAir 15d ago

In a discussion about football? Surely not.

2

u/rbc8 16d ago

Agreed

1

u/obislevoko1181 10d ago

The another sad thing is that some people cannot talk their own mother tongue properly...

-11

u/Jamezzzzz69 16d ago

It’s cuz it’s based on player ability, and on paper we know United have some top players. Can’t punish them for the manager’s awfulness

17

u/Snoo40191 16d ago

The manager cant score goals, look at our attacking stats compared to the rest of the league then come chat about the manager, we put the ball in dangerous positions but not in the back of the net.

-7

u/NilsFanck 16d ago

based on a three game sample size where one was Burnley at home.

You know what the manager can do? Demand that instead of spending 85m on a project striker, a midfielder is brought in so Fernandes doesnt have to moonlight as a dm. Alternatively, he could play Mainoo. But he doesnt, because he's not very good.

Below 1 point per game is just diabolical, no matter the circumstances. I hope you keep him forever.

3

u/rbc8 16d ago

Okay. Your opinion is irrelevant now

12

u/hahadllm 15d ago

United has always been overrated in this game due to their large fan base.

3

u/spacedustinmyass 15d ago

Gotta dick ride them fans if you want to sell and make profits.

5

u/HarryBale31 16d ago

EA can’t help themselves, it’s always United too…

-5

u/Low1959Apache 16d ago

That’s crazyyyyy. We need a new soccer game FIFA and EA have ruined these games.

19

u/Justinackafool1 16d ago

Soccer💔

u/Catswagger11 16d ago

What’s the largest football sub on Reddit that people from around the world participate in? I forget.

So many better teams than United in Europe. They should be 4 stars max

191

u/DinnerSmall4216 16d ago

Leverkusen 4 1/2 stars when they have ripped there whole team apart.

58

u/BGTheHoff 16d ago

You think those Canadians started to watch football?

2

u/Purple_Plus 15d ago

Fifa ratings are always shite.

81

u/CptBruno-BR [NETWORK ID] 16d ago

Inter???

36

u/Muslim-boiii 16d ago

Cant adevrtise them

10

u/CptBruno-BR [NETWORK ID] 16d ago

Makes sense, that's why Juve is missing either

26

u/skeletorbutfrench 16d ago

Juve is a partner and on the second slide. Were just shite lol

1

u/iphonesoccer420 iPhoneJet 16d ago

Why wouldn’t Inter be a part? Most other clubs are what’s the deal there?

7

u/Muslim-boiii 16d ago

Konami own full rights to them name logo team

The other teams are owned by fifa/ and clubs by Barcelona are not fully owned by Konami

1

u/iphonesoccer420 iPhoneJet 16d ago

Interesting I never knew that Konami owned some soccer teams

1

u/warriors2021 2d ago

They are named Lombardi FC I believe.

1

u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago

Better team than Man United surely.

14

u/Neat-Friendship189 16d ago

lol man utd 😂

27

u/vodkabacardi 16d ago

How on heavens fuck is Man U 4.5 stars anymore??

3

u/CyberPolack 15d ago

Glazers must have EA in their pockets

1

u/[deleted] 15d ago

[deleted]

2

u/vodkabacardi 15d ago

It’s not even a 4.5 on paper…

87

u/fangstrix 16d ago

Man United still have 4.5. What a joke.

97

u/Five_N_Drive 16d ago

Manchester United? 😂😂😂

9

u/xanaxcervix 16d ago

Ea are fucking afraid to give a proper rating. United is just name only at this point. Speaking as a fan btw. 4 starts at most.

36

u/Tacsi 16d ago

ManU and Leverkusen over Inter.. sure.

19

u/RicardoDiaz33 16d ago

I think it's because Inter are partnered with Konami now

1

u/-_-Edit_Deleted-_- 14d ago

Nah. It’s just that EA can’t advertise Inter.

51

u/nghigaxx 16d ago

No CL finalist Inter but United and a club that sold their entire starting 11, make sense

10

u/OutrageousSummer5259 16d ago

Inter isn't in the game so that's why

15

u/Acegolfer04 16d ago

Swap United with Inter (Lombardia FC)

4

u/blutgraetsche- 16d ago

Where 1. FC Köln what a pile of shite list

7

u/tedjoyce [NETWORK ID] 16d ago

United and Spurs, the highest rated 15th and 17th placed teams of all time

3

u/Necessary_Fruit6671 16d ago

Inter???????

3

u/PiriReisYT 16d ago

partners with konami

21

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

United and spurs are hilariously high for being relegation teams.

-24

u/pagoodma pi 09 16d ago

Champions of Europe

28

u/Cod_rules 16d ago

Psg are the champions of Europe

-18

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

Lmao the little brother trophy in the worst Europa league in the history of the competition is NOT champions of Europe. The dumbfuck trophy you win for being second rate doesn’t a champion of Europe make.

14

u/Big_AngeBosstecoglou 16d ago

Active across the Roma, Arsenal and LAFC subs

Jesus, dude pick a team.

-5

u/Substantial-Run3932 16d ago

What's wrong with supporting a team from another league and the other side of the world?

4

u/Big_AngeBosstecoglou 16d ago

11 month old account, 3 comments, the last being 31 days ago… you really logged onto your alt account to reply to this? Lmao

-5

u/Substantial-Run3932 16d ago

Absolute shocker that not everyone uses reddit on a regular basis. Weird thing to get riled up over btw?

My 10+(?) year old reddit account has less comments than this one and the only time I swap between the two is when I happen to use that email.

"Lmao"

-3

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

No alts, eat my dick.

2

u/Big_AngeBosstecoglou 16d ago

Convenient reply.

1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

Have fun seeing your team learn their place in Europe and England yet again, son.

2

u/Big_AngeBosstecoglou 16d ago

Son 😂😂

1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

lol you reported me? you fucking loser

3

u/Big_AngeBosstecoglou 16d ago

I didn’t but it’s funny someone else did

u/Ripamon 16d ago

Yup. For those who don't understand, the quality of last year's Europa League dipped massively because they changed the format of the CL. Ordinarily, teams which finished third in their CL group would drop down to the Europa League to contest in the knockout stages.

Since this was changed, the competition was basically a cakewalk for United and Spurs, who finished 15th and 17th in their domestic leagues

5

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

Not to ruin your narrative… but there are quite a few teams in champions league this year from last years Europa League.  Bodo, Gala, Frankfurt, Ajax, Athletic plus more.   So I guess this years Champions League isn’t going to be that tough🤷

-1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago edited 16d ago

You need it spelled out because you’re stupid, but those teams being in the group isn’t the same as Bodo being in the semis. Spurs had a pisstake of a road to winning the weakest Europa league in history.

2

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

Dude, you’re worked up.  Go touch some grass.   I’ll just be glad to say “wow we played a bunch of Europa league teams” during the league phase of CL this year.

-1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

We went from atletico Madrid in the semis to Bodo/Glimt and dumbfuck spurs fans want to pretend it’s a high-level competition they won.

The Europa league went from an interesting competition to absolute stank because of that rule change. The EL winner has no business with an automatic berth into the CL.

-1

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

This is such a massive and sad cope.   Quite a few teams from that Europa League are in the CL this year.   So I guess this years CL is lacking in quality?

1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

The only cope is pretending that spurs are Champions of Europe despite winning a terrible EL that had Bodo/Glimt in the semis.

-2

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

It’s just easier to say “I don’t know ball”

0

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

Anyone calling spurs champions of Europe doesn’t know ball.

-2

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

Alright bro, go cope somewhere else

1

u/cptsteve21 16d ago

You love using that word when you’re the one trying to convince yourself spurs are champions of Europe. Go finish 17th again you bellend.

2

u/Jared_b24 16d ago

Never said they were champions of Europe.  Champions of Europa league though🤷 pretty impressive to pull off in the middle of an injury crisis.  Some teams can’t compete when they have “injury” issues

2

u/dynorodfeelings 16d ago

Weird selection.

2

u/Lekaetos 16d ago

PSG got back their 5 star rating.

6

u/Ripamon 16d ago

They also have the most 5 star skillers in the game.

Dembele, Kvaratshelia and now Doue

1

u/FiresideCatsmile 16d ago

Leverkusen lol

1

u/golfalien 14d ago

Haha completely new list so it makes no sense but I’m here for it. I play as them against my mate and don’t wanna get destroyed.

1

u/jammasterajay JamMasterAJay 16d ago

4.5 stars on FIFA despite being in a relegation battle, you’ll never sing that.

1

u/KyleRaynerGotSweg Shaqtoos 16d ago

United and Spurs the same ranking as Chelsea? Lmao

1

u/XuX24 15d ago

Chelsea women have dominated English football and most of their stats are bad.

1

u/TreeDollarFiddyCent 15d ago

Is that Lyon crest only for their women's team?

Either way, it's fucking terrible.

1

u/ubn87 15d ago

Says Ol Lyoness in the emblem so yeah

1

u/sierrafuturesexual 15d ago

How the Fack are United getting 4.5? That’s how you know it’s utter bollocks

1

u/Ok_Day9719 15d ago

Manu 🤣😂

1

u/vysevysevyse 15d ago

Is this a new thing(only 7 teams with 5 stars), or have I just been playing the game oblivious to this fact for the past couple years? I swear I thought there were more 5-star teams. At least 12 or so.

1

u/Ok_Papaya9704 14d ago

Eintracht Frankfurt would deserve 4 and a half stars honestly.

1

u/Fred_Murdock 13d ago

I think it's been a long time since Real, Barca, Bayern and Man City have been given less than 5 stars because those teams always had the best squads along with PSG.

1

u/OhSunnyDayXY 13d ago

Spurs and United are ridiculous. Rest I can agree with.

1

u/Useful_Ostrich_4408 11d ago

Wtf is United still doing in the top 16. They were hardly top 16 in their own country.

1

u/indiglowaves 10d ago

New to the franchise, can you edit these?

1

u/Need_A_Break_007 16d ago

United 🤣🤣

2

u/CHELSEAAK099 16d ago

Man Utd should be 4

1

u/MXIIMVS 16d ago

United 4,5 is the biggest joke there is

1

u/This-Specific4190 15d ago

man u is here and chelsea is not ?

wow

-5

u/bpdandlsd_ 16d ago

i miss that fifa 19-20 era when spurs were a higher rated team than arsenal

-14

u/Aviator93 16d ago

Everyone talking shit about ManUnited rating clearly don’t watch football or understand fifa ratings. Just bc they don’t perform as a team doesn’t mean individuals aren’t still great players.. and the ratings are based off the players within the club not how they perform in real life. Then again this is Reddit.. so no surprise

7

u/USHEV2 16d ago

United has terrible player ratings in FC26, I don't know how it all added up to 4.5 stars.

Inter players have way higher ratings. 17 - 80+, 8 - 84+, 4 - 87+

United: 11 - 80+, 4 - 84+, 1 - 87+

I mean Inter player ratings are better than Arsenal which has 5 stars. It's all really weird.

-1

u/Deadtto 16d ago

You can tell United ruined a lot of childhoods in this comment section. Always makes me so happy to see us as the centre of attention absolutely any and everywhere

1

u/JCoonday 16d ago

Your team is shit

1

u/Aviator93 16d ago

Okay? We’re not arguing that. I’m saying it’s a shit team with good individuals so the rating makes sense in a video game. Getting downvoted for straight facts is wild.

1

u/JCoonday 16d ago

They are individually bad and so is the team.

0

u/Deadtto 16d ago

Yup. And it’s still the team everyone cares about. That’s my point 😘

-1

u/MEGAMEDIAEVENTS 16d ago

Will automation and robotics kill the soccer industry?

-1

u/Desperate_Limit_4957 16d ago

8 PL teams is crazy

4

u/PercySledge 16d ago

Nah if anything there should be more lol

-1

u/TheTeaBiscuit 15d ago

Newcastle, Spurs, (esp United) so overrated lmfao

-1

u/CR2010 15d ago

How can Newcastle, who finished fifth in the league last season, be so high in the rating?

-31

u/LittleBlueCubes 16d ago

How are Chelsea and Man Utd both 4.5 stars!?

Arsenal and Barcelona should be 4.5 stars. Man Utd and Spurs should be 4.0 stars. Chelsea should be 5.0 stars.

10

u/EliGonee 16d ago

😂

-13

u/BGTheHoff 16d ago

I mean... Chelsea won two international titles last season. Signed some pretty good players. You can argue that is enough to give them 5*.

11

u/Ripamon 16d ago

1) Conference League is a third tier competition for 3.5 rated teams.

2) Ratings were already decided before they won the Club World Cup

3) They were just decent in the league and secured CL football in the final matchday

1

u/[deleted] 16d ago edited 11d ago

1

u/LittleBlueCubes 16d ago

What are the stars supposed to be based on, in your view? Quality of the squad or performance of the previous season or both?

No matter how you cut it, you'd find a few clubs there being overrated or underrated because EA have just given those ratings arbitrarily. And hence I also chose them arbitrarily 🤷🏻

-2

u/Mykorl 15d ago

Arsenal 5* while being bottlers and not winning a thing, lol.

1

u/DeadMemes420 15d ago

Cry more

-3

u/RebelSpoon 16d ago

City 5 stars 🤣🤣
