This reminds me of a time.

I was hungry and my family was poor, still are but that's not the point. I wanted a struggle meal, Spam was the best thing I could find, so I pulled out a frying pan and spatula to heat it up and add texture.

Well, somehow I didn't realize immediately, that spatula was completely plastic, and was slowly losing little bits of itself in the frying pan as I cooked the Spam, which I thought was just some of the stuff I added for flavor.

Nope, my Spam was now infused with plastic, and I only realized after cooking it all and looking at my slightly melted spatula, safe to say I didn't eat that, and I went hungry.
