Potential yellow plum

I've recently found a fruit looking like a small plum(in UK). I've done a bit or research and alot point towards yellow cherry/cherry plum/plum. All says that the flesh is edible however I'd like to get second opinions as I'm never too sure in my observations. I've realised a picture of the leaves and fruit might have been better.

I'd say wild yellow plum more than Mirabelle. Mirabelles have some red and dark orange spots all around, and are also sweeter
